Quality
Good quality, like the looks of them. They are thicker than the average baseplate. You need at least 2 baseplates together to be level with a road plate.

A little thin, But the kids really like them.
They are a little thin, But the children spend a lot of time playing with them. They fit together so they are easy to store..We would buy again.

Better than Lego at this point!!
Lego no longer sells the road plates, because they are trying to push a more complicated road system that increases piece count, but other wise sucks!!These are just as good as the old Lego road plates and work exactly the same. In fact I feel like they are a little better because the white and yellow lines are bolder than Lego.If you know someone who has Legos this is a perfect gift. You don't have to worry about buying a set they already have and they will appreciate the quality.

Perfect for car & construction lover!
Perfect gift for my Lego & car loving 5 year old’s birthday! He’s obsessed with the fact that you can use these to build vertically, and I love that they are compatible with both Lego and duplo.

Not compatible with Lego Plates
Bought these for a Lego table I am building for my kids and mixing it with Lego 10x10 plates. Two problems with this is the thickness of these make them stand higher then other plates so you cant connect to each other. Second is the bottom has no flat surface to allow for gluing the plate down. By itself this set would be fine.

Brick base plates
My 12 year old grandson has been building the Big Jim's city buildings and is using the base plated to make his own little town. He loves them. They are very sturdy. The only downfall is He wishes they connected together somehow. He's making it work.
