Great
This was exactly what we were looking for to solve our problem and it did exactly that. Let me give you a short quick back story. We had got a projector to watch movies outside in our backyard during the summer. We quickly realized that we did not want to buy a portable dvd player to hookup to this projector and start renting DVDs to watch movies outside. We also did not want to put movies on a USB thumb drive, and we knew we did not want to hookup a hard drive to it either to watch movies. The only choice and the best choice for us was to stream movies via WiFi to the projector via some streaming services we already had.The only issue was when we would walk outside maybe ten feet from the door the signal would be gone, it would drop out.I actually tested this signal with my phone and thought because I had a connection that it would work.Long story short of it is, the signal outside the house was weak and poor. So unable to stream anything. We actually have the router on second floor. So I eventually found this Linksys model after searching and researching other models, honestly I was skeptical at first, but surprised when I saw it work. All you have to do is plug it in the wall, then try to access it via available networks, once it finds it you will run setup. Then you will connect to the new access point with your same original password. This thing does work. The signal is also very strong. So if you are like us and you just need something wireless to bring the same strong WiFi signal to an area of your house.

Great little range extender for the price
Very easy setup and worked right out of the box. Just plugged it into an outlet, waited for the light to turn orange then logged into the Linksys setup wireless network on my laptop. The extender led me through the rest of the process including finding the best location to give maximum range extension. We needed the 2.4 GHz signal for a particular device and this extender allows us to turn off the 5 GHz. (The opposite can be done, too, or leave both bands on.) The device is 20 feet away from the extender but it still connected right away. It solved our problem.

Adequate, especially for the price.
This is my second cheap all-in-one extender unit. Neither has given a 5 star performance, but this one does better than the cheap Belken it replaces, and the price was right. Setup was easy, using WPS. Performance isn't perfect, even though I'm tasking it lightly, over short distances with almost no obstruction. Loses signal periodically when I'm on the porch trying to stream music, through a sliding glass door, a scant 15 ft. away. Not a deal-buster, but it's frustrating sometimes. Next time I'll try a regular wireless router set up as an access point.

Terrible, do not recommend
Things were going good at first. I got through the setup, created my network, password, and then it wouldn't work. No matter how many times I tried my password it told me it was wrong, but it was right. Next I tried the WPS option, but that didnt work either. I reset the device and tried starting over, entered the password to my internet several times and it always came back as incorrect eventhough it wasnt. I couldn't get past this step so I gave up. Maybe I just had a bad device that is poor quality but i wouldn't waste my time on this device again, it was not easy to use.

Definitely Helps
I have a linksys router and after months of troubleshooting why something claiming 2700 sq ft of coverage wouldn't cover a 700 sq ft apartment I decided to get this extender.Setup was OK. For some reason the Mac address on the back of the unit isn't the actual Mac address, so setting up on my Mac filtered network became impossible using the phone method. Ended up having to drop my Mac filter and use the WPS method to connect. Once I did I was able to connect fairly easily, although the second WPS press for the 5g network didn't take the first time.I have my unit about halfway between my router and the room affected and I was able to get it up to 98 Mbs in the room after connecting to the extended (that's up from 4 Mbs). I pay for gig internet so I'm surprised I'm not getting more but at this point 98 is better than 4.All in all it does what it claims and I would have given 4 stars if I would have had a much higher download speed than I did (upload was 30 Mbs so obviously it's getting that high from the gig speed).

Great Option
Needed a stronger wi-fi signal at the other corner of the house and outside in the back for the pool controls. Looked at a lot of options and decided to give this one a try because it was least expensive and I didn't require anything sophisticated. This was a great option and a great deal. Installed and set up in 5 minutes. Easily and seamlessly connected the devices I needed to improve in a matter of a minute. Would highly recommend this product.

It works
For under $15 I can't complain. It works fine for me and was easy to install.

Easy Set Up, Moderate Loss of Speed with Extender
Fairly easy to set up, did a good job improving the signal strength to laptop, cell phone and TV in another room than my wifi router. Didn't fix the problem with Netflix freezing on Samsung TV, but that is apparently a problem with Samsung TV and the built in Netflix app, not poor signal strength that I had assumed. May need to get low end Roku to the the Netflix app problem. DSL speed test results with Spectrum DSL:Direct connect - 120 Mbps download/12 uploadWireless without range extender - 81 Mbps download/12 uploadWireless and through range extender - 48 Mbps download/12 upload. With Range extender - 59% of the download speed without range extender (a very reasonable tradeoff)Very satisfied so far, has only been a few days.
