These were the perfect solution for quick transitions in sprint triathlon. I don't wear clip-in shoes when I bike so I wanted short laces that wouldn't get caught up in pedals or gears. I put these in my running shoes and they were excellent. Look at my photos for length though--there was just enough for my size 7 women's shoes in this length. Keep that in mind!

These laces are easy to use and work great if it is difficult to tie shoe laces.

These are kind of neat, but they have their limitations. I tried them on a couple pairs of shoes. On one pair, I got a really good fit, but it wasn't comfortable - the elasticity put too much pressure on my foot where the laces run across a bone spur (not a problem in that pair of shoes with regular laces) and I couldn't adjust them to work right. On the other pair, I think it would have been good if the shoes had more standard eyelets for lacing, but they have d-rings and the laces don't stay in place.
