Overall a great unit but the range could be better
The bridge works as described. We have some vacation rentals and use these on all of our lockboxes. No issues after 2-4 years of use between the various units. The only criticisms I have is that they are expensive and the Bluetooth range is crap. The bridge has to be quite close to the lock for reliable usage. Maybe 10-15 feet with direct line of sight. Otherwise they get finicky. They aren’t perfect but they are a good addition for a lockbox that integrated with our property management software.

Good concept, terrible execution.
As far as I could tell, Igloo Home is the only consumer device on the market (that I could find) that allows a smart padlock with remote access capability. Or so I thought… the concept of the bridge makes sense. The way it works is that the bridge connects to your WiFi network and communicates to the devices via Bluetooth. This is the deadly mistake that makes this worthless. The range of the Bluetooth is laughable. Short of having the bridge almost affixed to the door where the lock exists, it usually just has no connection to the devices. I have two locks to my back yard on either side of my home; I placed the bridge in my garage equidistant from both locks, neither of them were seen by the bridge. Had I not had a real need to have remote control of the lock, I would’ve absolutely returned this overpriced piece of junk. For now, I just found a location that is close enough to one of the primary locks and the rest remain connected Bluetooth. For the price, I would’ve definitely expected a higher quality Bluetooth device that has a further range. Ideally, these locks would simply have WiFi connectivity; and do away with the bridge altogether. I understand why the bridge exists, and why it connect via Bluetooth to the locks, but based on my experience, I feel like it was an afterthought at best. If you have an absolute need for the remote functionality; then you may consider it; but I would basically account for one overpriced bridge per lock, so that you can place them close enough to the locks. Otherwise; I do not recommend it. (The locks are great), the IglooHome app… not so much. Will review that in the AppStore. Update (01/14/2025): the bridge now shows that it is online. But never passes diagnostics. Even deleting and repairing it doesn’t work. Guess the next step is to test their customer service. Will post an update with the result of that.

Seamless Connectivity
I recently added the Igloohome Wifi Bridge to complement my Igloohome Smart Lock for my Airbnb property, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. Despite initial reservations about its range, the wifi bridge has proven to be a reliable and seamless connectivity solution. One of the primary concerns I had before purchasing the wifi bridge was its range, especially since my setup required it to be positioned farther from the smart lock. However, the wifi bridge effortlessly maintains a strong and consistent connection with the smart lock, even when the door is open at its widest angle. The wifi bridge's compatibility with the Igloohome Smart Lock enhances its functionality, enabling me to remotely check battery status and conveniently manage access codes for my guests. Overall a good product and a great buy.

Great but poorly executed
I own 3 of these. When they work, they work great. They make the SP2 Padlocks into the ultimate smart lock. However, the Bluetooth range is unacceptable. You really need a clear line of sight if you want any type of distance. If this box could be outside in the elements, it’d make sense, but it can’t be. I have this box in my garage up against the wall. On the other side of the wall are my walk-in gate and my driveway gate. Both locks are within 15 feet from the device, with the only thing between them is a wall. They have a weak connection. I own cheaper Bluetooth speakers with better Bluetooth connections. So, great product, but for the price you’re paying either make it for outdoors or up the Bluetooth because otherwise, i might as run a wire to the lock instead of being wireless.

Rarely worked then stopped altogether
Product was an annoyance from the beginning. Products that can be controlled through an app from anywhere should be able to connect to home hubs without an additional hub, such as Google Home or Alexa. The need for this hub is just a money grab. Product is cheap, flimsy, and rarely works. Connecting is extremely slow and unreliable. Less than 2 months later the product stopped working altogether. Power source good (checked outlet and cable with meters) and no damage visible. Just stopped working. Strongly recommend staying away from this product and anything that might require it. Only thing that works well is the lock I bought, which works great, besides needing this junk to be able to use all the features. This hub makes using the remote locking and unlocking functionality of my lock box essentially useless.

Works as Intended, But It’s a Simple Bridge — Not Magic
This does exactly what it’s supposed to do—nothing more, nothing less. If you’re using an igloohome lock and want remote access, this is the piece that makes it happen. Setup is pretty straightforward as long as you’ve got a stable WiFi connection nearby. Once it’s connected, you can control your lock remotely, check status, and manage access without being physically near the door, which is the whole point. Performance has been reliable so far. Commands go through without much delay, and it stays connected as long as your network is solid. Just understand what you’re buying—this is a bridge, not a standalone smart lock or some advanced hub. It needs to be placed within range of both your WiFi and the lock, so placement matters. Overall: simple device, does its job well, and adds the remote functionality that should probably be built in to begin with.

Easy to set up
It was so easy to set up , I travel a lot and went through other electronic locks and bridges and they were a very big pain to set up and sometimes they would work and at times they wouldn’t. This bridge was so easy to set up and pair with the lock.

Works just fine
Easy to install and use. Our deadbolt was just a bit to old to use together with the bridge (bought 2 years ago), but now we have bought a new one.

Enables internet connection to your igloo lock
This thing is great. Allows me to wirelessly connect to my lock and unlock it from anywhere. Also allows me to setup lock codes - this is a must for anybody that has a short term rental or is a real estate agent. Software is pretty easy to use to connect to various property management apps. There is a glitch that I called the igloo team to fix and they were able to get back to me within a few days. My cottage gets blackouts but this thing still auto connects and works after the power restores which means I dont need to drive up a few hours to manually connect it again
