Well worth the money, Works great
This thing works great. I crimped all the AC hoses for my Rat Rod AC system. All worked perfect and zero leaks. Easy to use. Good assortment of dies came with it. This was a money saver.

It was my only option
They are not the cheapest things, but are also not the most expensive. In my case it was my only option as I needed to replace a repaired line I had fixed at a radiator shop for my high pressure AC line and they put a crimp fitting on the other end of my tube, so the only way I could install myself was to get a crimp tool...and this did a great job and was able to fit in the tight area I had to work in. I took off a star as I think it should be about 20-30 dollars cheaper, but honestly, it worked so I am happy...and if I took it to a shop to be done, they would have charged me twice what this cost. It's definitely a useful tool to have in your arsenal for whenever the need arises again

Worked Great To Repair My RV AC Hose
One hose fitting on the AC compressor in my Monaco Diplomat RV was cracked. I purchased a replacement fitting here on Amazon and also this hydraulic crimper and was able to repar the #8 hose in a matter of minutes. I used the dies marked 8 and the fitting appeared slightly under crimped so I swapped in the next size tighter dies and partially crimped the fitting just enough that it looked like the factory crimp and I stopped there. Leak checked good with shop air, under vacuum, and once the refrigerent was replenished. I couln't be happier

Versatile,
I'm a diesel technician, bought this tool to use for work, then modified my dodge, moved my accumulator & made my own line set, tool works perfectly, ac system has been working great ever since with all new lines crimped with this tool, works really good being a hand held tool, you can make your crimps right on the machine if there is a reason you cant take the line off while your making it, highly recommend purchase
