Too dim and uses too much battery. Screen lag issues. Poor reproduction.
INSTALLATION Installing the screen is straightforward enough if you have some experience or watch a video online. iFixit has a wonderful database of tutorials for Apple products and offers much better tools than what this company provides. Personally, I would order higher quality screwdrivers anyway as most tools provided for free tend to come up short. BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST The overall screen reproduction compared to an OEM is poor. The most notable issue is from brightness, which must be pushed to its maximum for basic visibility. This puts stress on the battery and usually ends with the phone building up heat. My battery life has substantially decreased since I installed this screen, and any fixes in software options yielded poor results. I recommend disabling auto-brightness because this feature dims to the phone to unusable brightness. You should not have to perform software tricks with accessibility options to do basic tasks like read text or watch a video. COLOUR The colours are much darker and less vibrant. It reminds me of the screen colours found in cheap burner mobile phones. Shadows and highlights are way too dark. Dynamic range is extremely narrow. Nothing you can do really helps this issue. RESOLUTION AND SCREEN REFRESH RATE The pixel density creates the slightest blur around text, which is noticeable coming from an OEM screen. The screen refresh rate has some lag to it. These delays are not necessarily obvious but can be felt and have a noticeable effect on the eyes. Typing becomes less fluid. CONCLUSION I am removing this screen ASAP. I tried to give it a chance for a month, but the problems are an unreasonable hindrance to basic iPhone tasks. My eyes hurt after its use, and it has diminished my overall battery health by it's excessive power demands to reproduce half of what an OEM screen provides. Overall, it works at a bare minimum as a cheap alternative, which has immediate diminishing returns. Opportunity cost-wise, I would pay the extra money for the extra quality and reliability rather than deal with the daily headache (literally). On the plus side, it did help me cut down on my Youtube time.

For the money, can’t be beat. But...
Photos attached of my full experience with this named display. Oem apple display finally quit on me, half the digitizer failed to register touch. I’m no novice, replaced hundreds of screens through the years, but the first screen came non functional. The first screen that arrived had artifacting, looked like window blinds. Usually screen Artifacting is due to an improperly connected screen. Reconnected half a dozen times but to no avail, same issue. Even cleaned the socket and connector with 99%ipa. Only when I connected the screen without powering off the device and disconnecting the battery connected did the screen function fully, no more window blinds. (Don’t do that, always power off and disconnect the battery. iPad just testing the faulty new display) power cycling reinitiated that window blind fault. Ended up ordering a replacement. The replacement was the same as the first. Programming True Tone worked just the same as the first. Finally have a functional device but that is without some comments. People say it’s as good as oem. I disagree. Here’s why. Blacks aren’t true, the camera notch and the display thickness is 3/4 of a mm larger than original screen. Tldr, screen isn’t oled but I would’ve known that if I read the description tho it wasn’t very clearly stated ig. Screen also sticks further out of the frame than oem. Something to note since cracks are more prone from dropping. Edit: replacement screen started glitching out intermittently the day after. Like static and flickering distorted pictures. Random. Ordered a 3rd screen and it’s worked fine for a few days now. Although it appears to be wildly less color accurate. More neon and orange. But that’s no problem as long as it functions. Also both screens 2 and 3, has diagonal lines when looking at a white image. No big deal either personally. Just looking for functionality

Screen works but the display has issues.
Some one else mentioned it below so to save typing i will use their comment. Product works but is not like oem parts. You will need to restart after every time the digitizer stops working. "First thing, I like the packaging and how it has the magnetic pad for the screws! thats a nice edition. The tools were decent except the star one (used to remove screws on outside of phone) was very soft and basically rounded out trying to remove those 2. This is common on most cheaper screw drivers of this style. I replaced a lot of screens on older iphones but stopped after the 10, but luckly I still had my tools and was able to use that to open the outside. was a relatively easy repair and being my first time I had the phone back together in less than 20 mins and that was taking my time. first impression. phone screen looks very blue. im a photographer so I am sensitive to colors like that. Sat it next to an OEM screen and can defintely tell the difference. is it a deal breaker? probably not. so I closed up the phone and went about my day. an hour or so I went to check my phone and I couldnt swipe to unlock. no matter what I did, it wouldnt unlock. had to restart the phone by doing a hard reset and it worked. happened again after a while. another hard reset and it worked. been about 30 mins now and it seems to be fine, so im just going to chalk it up to a one time thing, but something to keep in mind. Also keep in mind since the screen isnt geniune you will get the error when you start up the phone. also screen doesnt have as good of viewing angle. before where I could lay the phone down and glance at it, the image would look good, here it is really bad. think about older projection tvs. im going to give it a few days to see if I want to deal with it or just switch to an oem screen. cliffnotes: its okay if you just want to fix your phone and dont mind little quirks...far from an oem replacement tho. edit: they also gave me a replacement part had i read this comment first i wouldnt have needed it. Constant hard resets isnt a deal breaker for me its an old phone now. Will probably upgrade soon.

Do not buy this screen. You have been warned!
Do not buy this screen. I generally can’t be bothered to write reviews, I’ve left a handful of positive ones, but never negative. However, after hundreds of products purchased through Amazon over the years, this is the worst and I can’t help but provide some useful feedback to some would-be purchasers. To begin with, the screen adds extra bulk to the phone itself installed in. It adds thickness as it doesn’t sit flush like the OEM screen you’re replacing on the iPhone. That in itself it annoying, however, it gets worse from there. Aside from the phone overheating, battery drain is a huge concern experienced with this screen install. The battery would usually last all day, but a power bank is required as you can sit there and watch the percentage go down rapidly. Despite being described as an OLED display, colours are washed-out, the picture is no longer crisp, but the absolute worst part? The screen has a kind of its own.. it presses buttons at will and even sent a TikTok to someone I would really rather not talk to. Just do yourself a favour, and do NOT purchase this screen.
