Love it!
Highly recommend! Give a great energy boost. I take 1 heaping scoop (.65 servings) and it works well enough for me for intense early morning athletic workouts. I feel focused, not jittery. I like that the caffeine is a bit less than some and there is no sugar. About the flavor: note that alone, this tastes slightly like baking soda, (I wrongly assumed it might be flavorless) but when paired with a drink with even light flavor it's not bad or noticeable. I usually prefer bland flavors but using this in water solo might be unpleasant even for me; but to each their own.

Great Ingredients!! But let me tell you the "unflavored" Hits Different***
This product is GREAT! I also use their Creatine and it dissolves perfectly into anything with no flavor. As a pre workout it is great! I take one scoop and get a little tingle in my face after I get to the gym and start working out. Not too much caffeine just the right amount to wake me up. 12/10 I purchased The Naked Energy "Unflavored" because I wanted the fewest amount if ingredients as possible. The taste I can't even describe. Its bitter for sure, just terrible honestly. BUT! That's what I paid for, and the company delivered. Its nothing they did, its just the fact your drinking raw supplements which aren't meant to taste good. I original plan was to mix it into a small amount of water in the morning like a shot. That was terrible. I have dry scooped it since the second day and that has worked the best. Its a great product just get the flavored kind, your future self will thank you.

Pretty Good
Written after 3 weeks of use: Switched to this from a different pre workout (GM) because I was looking for no additives. This is much more compact both in formula and packaging. These scoops are SMALL. The scooper is the size of my thumb nail and I’m a 5’3 lady with baby hands. The package itself is the size of my palm. I will say, for such a small amount it packs a punch. As for its performance. It definitely gives a caffeine boost. I only do one scoop since I’m on the smaller side. One scoop is plenty to get me through a 2 hour workout session. I notice the biggest boost to my running and weight lifting. Granted, I don’t lift heavy weights, just light dumbbells but I find that I can easily get through sets while taking this preworkout and my running is easier too and I don’t build up lactic acid as quickly. The negatives: The caffeine can give me a bit of jitters since I’m not much of a caffeine person on the daily. I also do notice a tiny bit of face and hand itch from the Beta Alanine although that’s said to be common and harmless. If anything I kind of appreciate it since I know the pre workout has kicked in at that point. It’s not very distracting to me but if you’re sensitive to such things I would advise against any preworkout with that in it. Overall I would recommend this to someone who’s keen to avoid unnecessary additives. It’s not quite as powerful as the super popular preworkouts but i would say it’s about 80% as powerful so the benefits outweigh the slight performance drop. The taste is pretty horrible but I just take it dry, plop it in my mouth and immediately swish with some water to get it down then I drink the rest of the recommended water afterwards. I think this is the easiest way.

Favorite pre!
This preworkout tastes absolutely disgusting but if you can get past that - this is my favorite preworkout of all time after 12 years of using pre workouts. I gave it a break for awhile and honestly going back to one that’s not some weird fruity flavor has been nice. Give it a try, just don’t use a lot of water so you can chase it down. No jitters, just a great workout.

Good option but tastes terrible.
This stuff tastes awful! There are no jitters or crash though, it is a smooth energy increase with cleaner ingredients. I just would never buy the unflavored kind again.

Finally, a clean pre workout powder!
I absolutely love this pre workout! From the first scoop I could tell it was different. No artificial sweeteners, no fake flavor, and no weird crash afterward. It gives me clean, steady energy that helps me power through my workouts and even my busiest days. I really appreciate that I can recognize every ingredient on the label and trust what I’m putting in my body. It mixes easily, tastes fine even unflavored, and gives me great focus without the jitters. If you want a pre workout that’s simple, effective, and clean, Naked Energy is the one. I’ll definitely be ordering it again!

So good! All the energy without any jitters.
I’m a mom of young children with not a lot of time to go off to the gym by myself. I prefer to run or do an at-home workout anyway. And while I do like to work out, being at home can inhibit me from getting started. More and more I have been needing some kind of energy-boosting supplement and I’m SO glad I found Naked Energy! I add it to a glass of water and stir with my little hand-held whisk and chug the whole thing down. The flavor is not pleasant per se, but it’s not the worst. I just appreciate that it’s not laden with sugar or artificial sweeteners. The first time I used it, I got a pins and needles feeling in my fingers that I wasn’t expecting, along with an awesome burst of energy. I figured both were from the Naked Energy, and I then found out the tingle is from the beta-alanine and is totally normal. I’ve taken it 6 times in the last two weeks, about 15 minutes before I start my workout. I don’t feel jittery at all; just energized and with a boost of “let’s do this!” I recommend!

Here's how to make taste tolerable
I don't know about taste since I drown it in a bottle of Smart Water with one Sugar Free Liquid IV White Peach packet and one Kiwi-Strawberry Propel stick. All three of these do not contain food coloring so it looks like I'm just drinking water. I freeze it in the freezer and sip on it all morning in place of coffee or energy. Helped me cut down on them. I know it's still not healthy, but at least I won't be judged since it looks like water. Lol. Freezing it helps it taste better to me, plus it controls my consumption of it. I don't chug it down; I sip on it little by little as it melts. Microdoses my caffeine, too. Lol.

Great product, gives me the energy I need to have a productive workout, and I only use 1 scoop, I bought the fruit punch flavor and its not bad at all, I just tasts like very diluted fruit punch, I will buy this again when I run out

I would have to agree with the reviews, the taste is pretty bad. I mix a bit of organic lemon juice in with the water and it cuts the bitterness. You definitely won’t want to dry scoop this stuff. I will add that this pre-workout gives me a lasting boost, and the tingles that I personally like! Totally worth it for the clean ingredient list.

Tastes like crap but if u mix it with lemonade it's not too bad but it's the best pre workout I ever had! lots of energy going to the gym and even after I was done! I love that's its not filled with garbage like sugar or artificial sweetners

This is a great pre workout. also if you do the math you get more servings for your buck then most on the market and no crap ingredients. It does add a bitter taste so I recommend to add it to juice or a water flavor of your choice.

A couple of things are important when it comes to supplements, but I'll touch on two: taste, and performance. First, the good - Performance: If I were rating this product ONLY on performance, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars. I first tried it with one scoop, and it was okay - but I found that it worked the best for me with 1.5 - 2 scoops. It gave me a clean energy, and no crash at the end of my workout. I did feel like it lacked something though, but maybe that's just because I'm used to products like C4's pre-workout or Vega pre-workout. Either way, it worked well, but not the best. I do enjoy that it didn't have any flavour or colours, and I also appreciate that there wasn't a listing of 30+ ingredients on the jar. Which, brings me to the next point... Then, the bad - Taste: In all honesty here - negative 1 star for taste... I tried a few ways of mixing this. Water only, almond milk (sweetened and vanilla), coconut water, orange juice, apple juice, lemon juice... Nothing could take away the medicinal taste that this gives off. I tried sipping it with juice, I tried chugging it as a shot... Both were NOT enjoyable experiences. (And, to be a little gross here - burping after drinking this stuff? Don't expect to forget the taste it leaves in your mouth any time soon after...) That, unfortunately, is the trade-off for using a supplement that doesn't have any sugar (or sugar subs), flavour, or anything else. The last time I used this, I had to mix it with a BCAA mixture I have just so that I could get it down. But - my BCAA mixture has some other sweetener, so there goes the one main benefit of using this pre-workout. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a clean source of pre-workout energy, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has sensitive taste buds or who can't handle medicinal tastes. It's pretty bad in the taste department, but if you're 100% committed to cutting out sugar and sugar substitutes, just take a shot back as if you were playing the "Roxanne" [by The Police] drinking game in your old college pub. And, make sure you have a good chaser.
