I have a permanent wire fitted behind bottom and top teeth and these fellas are vital to keep the teeth clean, getting into the gaps above the wire, that dental tape can't reach, keeping the teeth and gums healthy. The issue is when you buy the ones the dentist sells on their counter you get 4 or 5 of them for a kings randsom, whereas with this you get a job lot for a great price. They last me ages and do the job I need them for.

Reliable and Long Lasting – A Staple in My dental Routine
I buy these again and again to help maintain my gum health. I use them daily, they’re easy to use, durable and hold up really well.I’d definitely recommend going for the larger pack, it’s better value and means you always have spares on hand, especially if you use them regularly like I do.A big plus for me is that they come with individual caps, which makes them super convenient for travel or keeping in your bag.

Fantastic for Daily Dental Care – Nearly Perfect with Just a Few Tweaks
Fantastic for Daily Dental Care – Nearly Perfect with Just a Few TweaksI’ve been on the hunt for reliable, easy-to-use interdental brushes that can handle the tight spaces between my teeth, and after trying quite a few brands over the years, I finally decided to give the TePe Original Interdental Brushes (Pink, Size 0 - 0.4mm) a try. After using them consistently for over a month, I can confidently say that they’ve become a staple in my daily oral hygiene routine. While I do believe they’re among the best on the market for cleaning those hard-to-reach spaces, I’ve held back one star only because of a couple of small design and durability issues. That said, I’d still wholeheartedly recommend these brushes to anyone looking to seriously up their dental game.Let’s start with the positives – and there are quite a few.First off, the size 0 (0.4mm) is perfect for people with very tight interdental spaces, which I definitely have. I’ve struggled with floss tearing or getting stuck between certain teeth, and traditional dental floss wasn’t quite cutting it anymore. These TePe brushes slide into the tiniest gaps with ease, without causing irritation or bleeding. They feel gentle on the gums, which is important if you’re like me and your gums tend to be a little sensitive.Another thing I love is the design of the brush head itself. The bristles are fine and flexible enough to clean efficiently but still hold their shape well for several uses. I appreciate how they manage to remove plaque and food particles in places floss doesn’t always reach. The wire core is thin yet strong and coated in plastic, which makes the brush feel safer to use around delicate gum areas and dental work like fillings or crowns. It’s a thoughtful feature that reduces the risk of scratching enamel or irritating soft tissues. The ergonomic handle is another highlight. It may seem like a small thing, but the grip on the handle really makes a difference when you’re using these daily. It's not slippery, and the length of the handle gives you just enough control without being too bulky or awkward. For those of us with less-than-perfect coordination (especially when navigating the back molars), the grip is a nice touch. Also worth noting is the packaging. The pack of 8 brushes is convenient and hygienic. Each brush comes with a small plastic cap that can double as a handle extender or be used to protect the bristles between uses. It's little features like this that show the company actually thought about how these products fit into everyday life – travel, storage, reusability, etc. Now, why four stars instead of five? The main issue I’ve encountered is with durability. While the brushes are excellent for cleaning and feel high-quality out of the pack, I do find that the bristles start to wear out after just a few uses – particularly if you're using them on multiple teeth or trying to get into really tight areas. In some cases, the wire even bends slightly, which makes reuse a bit tricky. TePe does recommend replacing the brush once the bristles start to splay, and for me, that sometimes happens after only 2-3 uses. I would have loved to get a bit more longevity out of each brush, especially considering the price point. On a related note, although the plastic coating on the wire is a great feature, I did experience it wearing off on one brush after just a couple of uses. It didn’t cause any damage or discomfort, but it’s something to watch out for – especially if you have very sensitive gums or dental work.Another minor critique is that these brushes don’t always work for everyone’s teeth. While the 0.4mm size is perfect for very narrow gaps, it’s too slim to be effective in slightly wider spaces. I ended up purchasing a second pack in a larger size (TePe’s blue or green versions) to fully cover all areas of my mouth. This isn’t a flaw of the product itself, but I think first-time users should be aware that you might need a couple of different sizes to get the most comprehensive clean.A guide included in the packaging that helps people choose the correct size (or a multi-size starter pack) would be incredibly helpful, especially for newcomers to interdental brushes. Right now, if you pick the wrong size, it could either not fit or not clean effectively, which can be frustrating and wasteful. That said, once you’ve found the right size (or mix of sizes), these brushes can absolutely transform your oral hygiene routine. My dentist actually recommended TePe, and after using them regularly, I noticed a visible difference in the cleanliness of my teeth and freshness of my breath. During my last check-up, my hygienist even commented that my plaque buildup had significantly reduced – and the only change I made was incorporating these brushes into my daily routine alongside my electric toothbrush. They’re also great for braces and other orthodontic appliances. While I don’t have braces myself, a family member who does swears by these brushes for cleaning around wires and brackets. The slim brush head makes it much easier to get into tricky spots that a toothbrush just can’t reach. In terms of value, I would say the pack of 8 is reasonably priced considering the quality, but again – if you’re going through brushes every 2-3 days, the cost can add up. I personally think they’re worth it because of the results I’ve seen, but for some people, it might feel a bit steep for a consumable product. To sum it up:✅ Excellent for tight interdental spaces✅ Gentle on gums with thoughtful, safe design✅ Lightweight, ergonomic handle for easy use✅ Highly effective at removing plaque and preventing buildup✅ Trusted and recommended by dental professionals❌ Bristles can wear out a bit too quickly❌ May require buying multiple sizes for full mouth coverage❌ Minor durability concerns with the wire on occasional brushesEven with those small issues, I think the TePe Original Interdental Brushes (Size 0) are a fantastic product. They’ve genuinely helped improve my oral health, and I now use them daily without fail. If you’re looking for a reliable way to clean those difficult in-between spaces and want something that’s more effective (and more pleasant) than floss, these are definitely worth trying.I’d give it a strong 4.5 stars if I could, but rounding down to 4 to stay objective. With a bit of added durability and clearer guidance on sizing, this would be a 5-star product in every way.

A must if you care about oral hygiene
I use TePe brushes every day to ensure my teeth and gums have been thoroughly cleaned and remain healthy. Before I did this my gums had some very deep pockets - some reaching 11mm. Now, most pockets that remain are around 2mm as a result of using Corsodyl mouthwash and gel in conjunction with TePe brushes.Even my dentist is amazed that I have managed to reduce the pockets so much.I've occasionally tried alternatives to TePe but I always go back. No alternative is as effective and some of them actually shed their bristles in your mouth. If you are serious about oral hygiene TePe brushes are a must in your daily cleaning regime.

Tee Pees
These are really good and the green ones are the recommended ones for me by my dentist. People don't realise that you need to get in between those pesky little gaps between your teeth to get food out. Also, I can't ever find green ones in any chemists or supermarkets so to find them on Amazon, at a reasonable price, is great. My dentist is an hour's drive away so much cheaper to get on Amazon than to get in the car. I need yellow ones, just for one tooth which is a pain. Would highly recommend.

Brushes sit on a metal inside
Work well on the bigger gaps of your teeth. Good quality but the brush is on a metal piece which can be a problem on fillings. They do last but do bend easily.
