Delicious!
Only bad thing is it ruined store bought pre-made beef jerky for me.

Very good flavor
My family loves the flavor and I love the fact that each pouch can make 5lbs of jerky. Flavors are rich. Original is very good and Hot is spicy and tasty. I make beef jerky strips and ground beef jerky with a jerky gun and both are equally as good. I use large ziplocks, put in the meat and the seasoning with the cure diluted in water, seal the ziplock making sure there is no air in the bag, leave it for 24h in the refrigerator before smoking for 3 hours at 175f Delicious

Simplifies the process for making your own gourmet quality jerky. Would prefer a few less chems...
Overview I bought this to make my first batch of beef jerky in over 20 years. I wanted to eliminate a variable of making my own spice mix while I figure out the best meat to use, thickness of cut, with or against the grain and, cook time & temperature for the dehydrator. I ended up using brisket, cut with the grain at 1/4 inch thick, marinated in the spice mixture overnite///and dehydrated them at 160 degrees for just over 6 hours. Jerky perfection! I used the mesquite for this first batch. Each envelope is good for 5 lbs and I did a 2.5 lb batch, so I used half and stored the remainder in and airtight container for future use. Note, the preserving salts are in a separate small packet inside the main envelope of spice (ie each of the 4 packets has its own smaller packet of the preservative inside it). I will likely work on my own marinade recipe to eliminate some of the more harsh ingredients (MSG, tricalcium phosphate, silicone dioxide ) You can opt to eliminate the preserving salt (sodium nitrite). I may do that for next batch...and store the jerky in small batches in vacuum packs. Tip: The preservative packet is very small and that makes it hard to split evenly in two if you are doing half batches. I empties both packets in a small bowl and mixed them together. Easier to evenly divide the larger quantity of powder. Pros -Good value for the amount of jerky you ca make -Flavour (for the one I tried so far) was really good -simplified the process of making professional quality jerky Cons -Aside from the preserving salt (which you can choose not to use) it also contains MSG and silicone dioxide. Recommendation – Would buy it again and would recommend. <---Click below if you found this review helpful--->
