DK-2 Guard Transformers Generations Selects Legacy Deluxe Class Action Figure

Highly recommend. Great quality

A great recolor of the Studio Series Ironhide. It feels weighty and solid in the hand, the van mode looks better than ever with the yellow and red stripes. If you like the G1 Ratchet or Ironhide figures you'll love this one. Unfortunately mine arrived broken with an entire piece of the leg snapped clean off so I had to send it back. But I am writing that off as an unfortunate fluke and I won't hold it against its review.

Was bought as a gift but ended up keeping for my self because it was so cool!! Very nice lines and seams on this toy! Larger than expected and great detail in the parts!! Love this transformer!!!

...but a bit loose in the joints. Maybe Mold Fatigue at this point? Still quite worth it, if you need a blushing bot bouncer guarding your Autobot base. He transforms quite easily, his plastic certainly feels sturdy, just don't be alarmed at his hip and arm joints that are quite liberal in movement. Some well placed nail polish will stiffen him right up, but isn't needed at all to enjoy.

I likes this design when we got Ratchet. I liked it again when we got Ironhide. Now we have the DK-2 Guard, that was the original color of Ironhide when he was still a Diaclone. I absolutely love the way Hasbro is giving us some amazing history brought to life. This figure is the same as the other two iterations. He is a robust robot with a small gun and a big shield. The gun can be stored in the shield. There are 4 cannons that come out to the end of the shield. Transformation is straight forward, with the shield becoming the roof of the van. The one letdown is that the back end of the van is ALL feet. They didn't even try to disguise it to look like feet. But that is Transformers for you. It happens. I am really happy with this version of Black Ironhide, or DK-2 Guard. A fun addition to the collection.

A very nice repaint of Ironhide in the original Diaclone colors. This mold was superseded by the studio series Ironhide, which transforms the roof into parts of the robot. This version uses the roof as shield. Diaclone was the original Japanese transforming car toy line, later imported and adapted by Hasbro to become the Transformers. Some toys kept the original colors (Optimus Prime, Jazz, Prowl), but many changed like the Blue Trailbreaker, Red Hoist, White Sideswipe and Red Sunstreaker, almost all of them were later released in Diaclone colors in the Legacy line.

Nice figure, but I'm sad that I paid double the price here on Amazon then what I could have paid at my local toy store. I couldn't cancel my order or return it for a refund

According to teenage son, it's great. Amazon often has transformers available that stores no longer have or sell at much higher prices.
