Q: Will this fit 0/1 gauge wire?

There is no such wire size as 0/1 so I’m guessing you are asking about 1/0 AWG. In which case the answer is no. The detailed description tells you the main clamp on these terminals will accommodate 4AWG to 1AWG. 1/0 AWG is one size bigger than 1AWG.

Q: just got mine. they are great on my dodge but the plastic protector cover on positive terminal does not fit on this what do you suggest ?

Battery terminal protectant spray. I suppose you could lay some electrical tape over the top if it bothers you
