Very pretty puzzle. It was a bit challenging, but very fun, and kept making progress even though it did not go as quick as a "normal" 500 piece puzzle . I had two duplicate pieces, no missing. I ordered the same brand with Istanbul image, and had some spots or marks inside the box. There were some in this one as well, but less than what I experienced the last time. I think the spots are just that the carboard is a little damaged or something. Overall a great puzzle with a crisp print. Had a great time with it

I actually don't remember why I ordered this puzzle. I build a lot of puzzles, mostly the 1,000 piece ones. Sometimes those take a while and I thought I'd see if the 500 piece ones would go faster but still be challenging enough. Maybe that's why I ordered one that was all pink. I ordered a stack of 500 piece puzzles and must have added this one on a whim. I looked at it for two weeks in the stack of puzzles and talked myself out of doing it each time I was ready for a new puzzle. I also hadn't read any of the reviews on these but the price was good and the picture next to it on Amazon was attractive visually.Well, to my surprise this was a wonderful building experience. What the other reviews have said are all true. The box is well done and sturdy. The pieces are practically dust free, come in a really nice re-sealable plastic bag, snap nicely together, are medium sized individual pieces and the quality is near perfect. The puzzle picture quality is so good that there are several distinct sections of the puzzle that stand out. I didn't have to do any "brute-force" work where the pieces all look so similar (like having 40 black ones) that you just keep trying until one finally fits. I had maybe 2 or 3 false positives where the wrong piece fit okay, which is a very minor nit. I did use the included picture as a guide and found it very helpful.I liked this puzzle so much that I checked out the series and ordered 4 more. Given the overall price, quality and how much I enjoyed building them, these are quite the bargain. Highly recommended.

Everything about this puzzle is pleasing, from its packaging in a sturdy box that neatly closes with a magnet and includes a helpful poster, to the puzzle pieces themselves which are dust-free and fit together perfectly. Additionally, the cost is more than reasonable for the quality you'll receive. This is a challenging puzzle, but I am taking it slowly (almost done!) and savoring the time I'm spending piecing it together. The colors are simply yummy and there is enough subtle variation that I eventually find the piece I'm looking for. The sheer beauty of this castle is a pleasure as well ... intricate and perfectly balanced. This puzzle is almost as good as a trip to Rajastan, India to see it.
