Pros: Chair overall is high quality. Assembly is very easy. The magnetic pillow stays put and is very comfortable. Seat is firm but not hard and conforms after a few days to your body. Lumbar support is very good adjustment is nice. Backrest is hard at first, if you are used to a very soft chair and most likely bad posture the chair may hurt your back as you adjust to sitting properlyCons: My backrest came with crooked logo stitching. After a week the lumbar support has begun to pop loudly and creak when I sit against it. It does not effect the functionality or comfort of the chair but is very annoying and worries me for longevity. The height adjustment knob also came with cosmetic damage. I have contacted Secretlab support and I am waiting to hear back. For the price things like this shouldn't be an issue.Updated Sept 2022:SecretLab support responded and after verifying my various issues they shipped me a replacement backrest. I don't know if the first one was just defective or old stock from a previous revision but the replacement's foam is much softer and the lumbar support seems to actually move up and down where previously it felt as if it barely moved which I thought was just how it was designed. The stitching is also perfect. One defect is the threads in one of the mounting holes was damaged and took some effort to install. Everything else is good and the chair is more comfortable than it was before.

Great material, very durable and steady

I tried this and the Kaiser 3 Chair, ended up with this chair because while the Kaiser 3 was a great chair, it had two large plastic holes that sat on my shoulder blades.The secretlab Chair looks and feels smaller, but is ultimately comfortable and sturdy.I'm 5'11, 180lbs and I went with the Regular size chair. It's perfect as is for me, but if I was 6'1 or taller I would probably look at getting the XL variant.I was using a $100 no name chair from Amazon for the last 3 years, so this was an amazing upgrade.The assembly was super straightforward and easy to set up by myself. The instructions were very clear and the packaging was secure.

First impression: Very well packaged. Wonderful assembly instructions. Easy to assemble, approximately 30 minutes. Sitting: seat cushion seems a bit firm, although still comfortable, and will probably last many years before collapsing. The chair has the look and feel of well-built quality and is likely the last gaming chair that I'll ever have to buy. Pricey, but worth it.

This product is absolute garbage. This company is trash. DO NOT BUY. I cannot stress this enough. The chair itself is okay. But it is still mediocre at best. It’s imply a chair. Nothing special or better about it than any other gaming chair 1/5 of its price.The company is absolute black hole. My item was delivered broken. I assembled it and notice the arm rest is broken and destroyed. It will not work or lock and the plastic is cracked. Now while this might not happen to everyone, contacting the company is impossible. There is no phone number. No way of receiving your refund. Believe these reviews. This entire thing is closer to a SCAM than anything.I rarely leave reviews unless it merits one in one direction or another. This is the WORST, product I have ever purchased through Amazon. It’s a giant assembly box and an absolute hassle to return to begin with. You can’t ask for just a single spare part. I have never been so annoyed and upset with a purchase. $650 WASTED.I REPEAT, BUY FROM ANY OTHER COMPANY. SECRET LABS IS A SCAM AND THE WORST COMPANY IMAGINABLE. THEY ARE TRASH DO NOT BUY.

UPDATE!After 2 years of almost daily use, I can confidently say the $700 was worth it. The chair has held up wonderfully and still looks just as good as the day I got it.Pros:This chair has everything you could want in an XL chair built for big boys—whether that means tall or wide for you. It has all the bells and whistles, as some would say. The armrests move in every direction to adjust for your comfort. The chair reclines and has solid back support. Even the magnetic head pillow is extremely comfortable, and it sits a little taller than most chairs, which makes it perfect for me.Building this chair was extremely easy—another huge pro. Right out of the box, it feels like you bought a premium item. With the help of a giant instruction poster, I was able to slap it together in less than 10–15 minutes.Cons:The damn thing is way overpriced in my opinion. While I love my chair and it definitely checks all the boxes for me... $700+ after tax is just too much for a chair. At least for me, I can't justify anyone spending that much on something to sit on—unless you’ve got money to burn. I mean, you could literally buy a brand new console and a cheap TV for that price… or you can have a chair. The choice is yours. I’d recommend waiting for a sale—unless you just can’t.Will you be happy with this chair? Yes, I believe so.Will you hate yourself a little for spending so much on it? Maybe a little. I waited too long to get on of these chairs.

While the chair is comfortable the quality was way below what you would expect for the price. I already had a side cover break for no reason at all. The armrest pads tear at the drop of a hat. The chair is unbalanced and constantly spins, which causes the problem with the armrest, spinning until the armrest hits the edge of the desk.I should have just gotten a cheaper brand. When I contacted support they made me jump through hoops to include pictures of each problem area, then find the hidden serial number and even then they sent parts to something that is not user-replaceable all in less than a year of use.
