Perfect for fixing motorcycle fairings!
I bought this yesterday and it was delivered today.I have a motorcycle which was stolen last year and 2 panels had broken tabs. I previously repaired this with plastic weld but it didn't last. This welding gun with metal tabs were super easy to install and is much sturdier. The instructions clearly show which metal tabs to use in which scenarios when you first try it out and it heats up straight away and takes less than 10s to melt and bond. What's also helpful is that this is only 150w and so I was able to use this in my council garage which as a leisure battery and 600w inverter...worked absolutely perfectly!Would highly recommend this product and wish i had bought one years ago...you won't regret it!

Very good
Excellent bit of kit. Does the job well and comes with plenty of inserts to choose from. Just don't hold it on the plastic piece for too long as it can easily melt through.

Very Hot
I had some broken plastics motorbike fairings. Seen this advertised so decided to give it a go in conjunction with fibre glass and resin. Arrived well packaged and in its own plastic case, which is sturdy enough and can keep stored safely. It comes with a good range of hot staples and plenty of them. The gun itself is of decent quality the trigger is easy to use and the gun gets Very hot very quickly which is great as you are not trying to hold parts together while your waiting for the thing to heat up. Word of caution have a few goes on a sample so you can judge how much pressure to put on,otherwise you can go straight through the plastic. When using it only takes couple of seconds let go of trigger and give second to cool and give slight twist and pull gun away leaving staple behind. Brilliant bit of kit worth the money in my opinion saved me a fortune on having to buy new fairings etc used on various things and still going strong. I use fibre glass to reinforce weld just to be on safe side but don't think it is necessary just me.

Does what it says, works well. comes with a lot of elements, inserts.
I thought this would've been a gimmick, and rubbish. But i was surprised at how well it works.i've used it in the car to repair the lug that holds the parcel shelf up. with it having awkward angles and little surface area i thought it would snap off quickly with this repair but its still going

Fantastic tool easy to use.
Fantastic tool I repaired my motorcycle fairing with it. The fairing looks like Frankenstein’s monster but it’s as strong as it was before I broke it.

Simple, low cost and it works
This tool works, and works very well. Almost any hard plastic pieces can be joined and be held together by the supplied steel staples. Softer plastics can also be joined but much greater care is needed so as not to melt a hole straight through. The wire cutters included in the box do their job but leave a largish tail behind. As the staples are of hardened steel, grinding the tails down is a chore if a smooth finish is needed - buying a pair of snips that cuts close to the surface would be a good investment if you intend to do a lot of welding.
