Installed this stereo in my 2000 Honda insight because the design of the dash, with a small ledge above the stereo, limits the type of CarPlay head unit I can install.After looking around at all the different options, this one fits perfectly, and has been working great for over a year.The display is decent quality for the price, and also quite reasonably responsive to touch inputs. I also feel the sound quality did improve at least a little bit, compared to the Pioneer single-din that it replaced.I like the ability to pop the screen out easily, and haven’t really run into any issues with Bluetooth or wired CarPlay since installing. Installation was as easy as any other single-din unit.

I bought this for my fiances car to bring it to modern day, I was slightly skeptical heading into it because the price. The first thing I noticed was the hinge on the screen is very stiff so it does not vibrate when driving or going over bumps, call quality is great and honestly I think sound quality has gotten better. I purchased boss back up camera separate which also works perfectly. Apple Carplay isn't as smooth as android auto, another plus is its wireless and automatically connects which I did not expect!

I did a lot of research and settled on this CarPlay system for my 2010 Volkswagen. I needed a few other products for this particular install (a dash kit, wiring harness and radio antenna) but after a lot of splicing and shoving, I replaced the radio that came with my car with this new system. And, I'm pretty pleased with it. It does stick out of the dash a little farther than I thought it would, but it works well and the wired CarPlay has been pretty quick responding and convenient. I also chose to add a backup camera and if you are trying to find a way to run the wire to a backup camera for a 2010 beetle without drilling here's a quick tip; unscrew/take off the backup light piece and everything is much easier to get to.But back to the product review.. my only complaint is that I wish the screen's automatic brightness adjustment would work. It has a weird strobe flashing effect at night if enabled, and I opted to turn off the automatic adjustment and just go into settings when needed instead of trying to figure out this weird glitch. It's still a little bright for me at the dimmest setting, but for the price and how happy I am with the other features, this isn't a huge deal.

Perfect Upgrade for a Classic Bronco!This BOSS stereo is exactly what my son's 1995 Ford Bronco needed to bring it into the modern era. Installation was incredibly straightforward - the wires were clearly marked and labeled, making it easy to match them to the speaker and power wires in the vehicle. The radio worked great for the first few months, but then Android Auto started disconnecting randomly. I have a 38 minute commute and in the beginning it would lose connection 1 to 3 times during my drive. Now it's about 7 times. I changed my phone's auto lock time so it would reconnect automatically, but sometimes it says the USB device is unsupported and I have to unplug the phone and plug it back in. Over the last 2 months, I have tried 6 different USB cords, replaced the dock connector in my phone and recently bought a new phone. Still loses connection randomly. Definitely the radio. Their website shows there are no firmware updates available for this model.

this thing works great. had one issue that I wired wrong and the screen was stuck on a camera error. Called customer service and within 30 seconds we had it handled.
