All I can say is if you have a fly problem in your backyard, 100% get these!!! We just got a dog who eats very organic food, we clean her poop in the backyard every other day and we still had what seemed like a million flies. Well I was right! I put one of these on our backyard tree and within a week or two there had to be about 1000 flies in there no freakin joke!!! I wish I had a picture but it was so disgusting I made my husband throw it away haha I’ll definitely be ordering again! It was too nasty forMe to dump it and refil it but you may not be as grossed out as I was. You can definitely tellA huge difference in the flies in the back yard. It’s gross but also very satisfying. Lol They are very attracted to this thing so keep it away from your doors. 20 ft away from sitting areas so it draws them away from you. Get it!!! I’m a lifetime customer for sure.

I just bought this after seeing one at a client's house that was completely filled with flies. I decided to get one myself, set it up, and after just four days, it's very effective. The start process takes some time, which wasn’t mentioned, but it starts working well after a day or two. The best part is theres little to no smell at all which bothers me nor my family.

I'm not looking forward to the "reuse" part (gross) but they work! Not as well as I'd hoped given this particular fly problem but some is better than none! I like that they're contained & not on a strip.UPDATE: I think it was a temperature thing. we caught a bunch yesterday. Warmest day since it was set out.

Had these for about 6 months. The mix that BugBane uses is the best, when compared to other brands that I have tried. I recently swap to a different brand and after 2 weeks—was very disappointed. I emptied one and put a Bugbane attractant in it, and in less than 2 hours, I had more flies than the other two traps had caught in two weeks. Highly recommend.Also, I prefer the reusable version over the bag.

This product is extremely well made, comes in a pack of 3 traps with each trap having 2 packets of bait to use. The instructions were very straightforward - just cut open the packet of bait, empty it into the canister, add warm water to the fill line, then hang it outside using the included hook. It's been catching flies (along with some gnats as well) since the first day I hung it out. So far I haven't noticed the bothersome smell that others have described - but I'm also not about to put my nose up against it either. The other thing I need to mention is that one of my traps was missing its included hook. I sent a note to the manufacturer (their contact information is provided in each canister) and they immediately replied back to me and had a replacement shipped out super fast! I honestly don't recall having a customer service experience that friendly and efficient for responding to a minor hiccup. It's a great value considering it will last for weeks at a time and you get 2 bait packs per container. And it's super effective at catching flies. I would not only purchase this product again, but also recommend it to anyone else wishing to rid themselves of pesky flies!

So far so good. We haven't been bothered by bad odors. The traps are definitely working. We have one on our porch and I put a piece of construction paper around it. Didn't want visitors sit and watches our flies die or floating. We think this will be a big help during the warmer weather we are having. Very easy to use.

These work, but the smell is ungodly and makes them almost unusable. If you’re hanging them in an area you aren’t hanging out, I’m sure they’re great. Do not hang them where you plan to spend time. I put them on my patio and ended up throwing them away after a few days because I just couldn’t take the smell.It also got to a point where the water level went down (after only a couple days) and I felt like more flies were attracted because of the smell but not as many going in/getting trapped so we just had more flies. I could have added water to fill it more but I couldn’t take the smell so I just threw them away.

Work great. There is an odor when empty the container and rinsing the bottle out, so I would recommend to do it outside. Also, before emptying, shake the bottle to make sure all insects are dead or dying. If opened without shaking, some bugs may still be alive and fly out when you go to empty the bottle, especially if you have to empty it inside.
