Would like to give it a good review but I got it and can't use it as the e bike kit that was sent to me was the wrong one for my bike and have to wait 3 or 4 more weeks to see if I can get the right kit for my bike or if I can get my money back

Is It Really Necessary?
Reading the installation instructions of my Bafang BBS02, it made it seem like I really needed this shift sensor, so I ordered it.After riding the bike and realizing it works just fine without the shift sensor, and seeing how futsy this sensor was going to be to install, I wish I wouldn't have purchased it.
