I love the fabric and texture of Waverly. Not “see through”, but just right. You’ll love these valances!

I bought these because I have a continental rod pocket and I needed a valance to cover up the top of vertical blinds on a sliding glass door. The colors are exactly what I wanted and the price was amazing especially for any valance. I purchased 6 of them so I would have a nice fullness to it. I have purchased other Waverly products throughout the years and have always been very pleased. These valances are very nice, and it is a plus that they can be laundered. I’m very happy with them and I would recommend them.

I bought this for my father’s assisted living apartment. Window treatments must have a white back. After failing to find anything he liked in stores I found this one on Amazon and he loved it. There were issues though (photos included):1) The valance failed the requirements at the facility as the red seams show on the back.2) The fabric is thin and bled in the packaging - something to keep in mind when cleaning or putting against a wall or layered on shears.3) There are multiple snags in the fabric. Still, from a distance they won’t be noticed.4) The casement pocket seams are poor quality. The tension on the sewing machine was off.5) I spent an hour ironing the valance to get the wrinkles out. Plus, the binding on the bottom edge doesn’t follow the curve well so that takes extra attention.I added a white backing to the balance which got it approved and gave it more volume on the window. I also stitched over the casement stitching to make it more substantial.So, I spent 2 hours and another $6 In supplies to finish the window treatment but it looks nice. But, if my father hadn’t liked it I would have returned it immediately because it wasn’t worth the extra time and effort. Still, I only paid $5.49 for the valance and knew I wasn’t getting a super high quality item but with the Waverly name on it I had my finger crossed.I gave the item 3 stars for the pretty print and low price. I took 2 stars off for quality.

I am very please with the deep color pattern of all valances, the contrasting striped bottoms add to the over all looks of all valances, and for the price paid the material is good (though a bit thin) although I don't mind the weight of them because drapes underneath are heavy blackout drapes so the look is perfect for me. Just the right amount of elegance and country style to my princess bedroom with Wild horses painting. I am a bit disappointed that the previous price of $7.31 for the same valance has increased by $5.00 otherwise I would purchase 6 more of them. Amazon's loss...

I like Waverly because they have beautiful patterns and this is exactly what I was looking for

The package arrived undamaged and clean. This was nice because most of my orders look like they had been run over by a truck and were too nasty to touch. The curtains look super cheap. They are pretty and look like the picture shown. Don't be fooled, these are not like the Waverly curtains I have had in the past. For the price and application, I will be using, they will work. Looks like the material was snagged on something. Where the snag is located, for a normal application, this would be unacceptable. You get what you pay for, sometimes.
