I was surprised because I didn't read touchscreen. It's great and this computer turns on from off and it doesn't take it but just very few seconds and it up and running. I'm very happy with it.As far as gaming goes I got a group of fans that the computer rests on and it keeps it cooler when playing games.

Short term charges
Except for the fact that the battery life is only about four hours I don’t have any complaints.

Very prone to parts breaking.
Screen hinge broke within warranty period and fixed by Dell bit they had device for a couple of weeks. About a month ago, several of pins in the female end of power charger port became bent. Estimated cost to fix was about $300 so I opted to buy a new laptop. The female part of charging port with the ring of pins is a very poor design. Based on these experiences with DELL, I would not recommend this product until they redesign the screen hinges and charging port.

Great Laptop
I do not game on this pc. I use it mostly for pictures and music. I like it alot and have no complaints.

Solid Laptop for the $$/ Update 20 months later
Dec 2022: What's not to like, price is right, Windows 11 OS, 16GB RAM, i5 processor, USB 3.0, touch screen, works great for my home and work needs, for $500. I only wish keyboard lit up, but I don't work in the dark that often.Update: 10/7/2024: Less than 2 years after purchase, I spent $59 for expedited shipping for Dell Diagnostic service. Ultimately needs a new battery $69, motherboard $176, Fan $9 labor $49, total $303 + tax. A new one would cost $100 more to replace the orginal. They should list them as disposable computers.

Perfect for my needs
I don’t game, mostly online, email and easy stuff. Works great for me. Battery life is lacking, could not use a full day but this is not s hardship for me plugging in. Everything else is great!

Amazing laptop
This is a fine laptop. My little sister uses it for her school and watching movies. The touchscreen is great!
