I was pretty excited about the product when I recieved it since it seemed like it was a higher quality book available. I used it without much of a hiccup for the first two shifts, except the clear pockets are a little long and kinda tough to get any paper all the way in. Also, a small pen slips out of the pen fold once you have some paper and bills in the book, I replaced it with a larger pen, no big deal. However, getting home last night, I noticed I started to break out in a rash on my left hand that I hold the book in and couldn't really think of why I'd have a rash on my palm and surrounding areas. I went back on line and looked at the listing for what type of leather the book is made of when i noticed theres a layer of FIBERGLASS within the book. Realizing that, I remember wiping off a little "dust" out of the packaging once I opened it up. I assumed it was just packaging "material" but now I'm not sure and all I know is my skin brokeout in a rash. I'm not sure if this is something that should be used anywhere near food service. Requesting refund either way to be safe, not really sure how fiberglass ends up in a product like this.

I’ve been a server/bartender for over 15yrs. And this is by far, the best book I’ve used. I love all the different compartments and it makes it so easy to keep everything organized. I have a place for credit card slips, post cards (my job gives post cards with every check), copies of open checks, my book, and of course cash. I love how I can put the cash in the back and it is secure and can’t be seen when I open my book at a table to take an order. That is probably my favorite part. I’ve used other books where I would open my book to take an order and have cash flying around everywhere. I’ve been using this book for almost a year and it’s still like new. Definitely a high quality product and makes my job easier by keeping everything organized. My checkouts are now done quicker (which we all know is a big deal at the end of a shift) bc I don’t have to separate everything at the end of the day. I’ve recommended to my co-workers and will continue to do so with new hires.

Great product! I did some research and compared a few different books on Amazon, and this is the one i picked. I've used it almost every day for about a year since I ordered it and it still is holding very well. The thing i love most about is the stitching on the outside looks very clean, the pockets inside are very convenient. I love this thing!! (enough to write a full review about it lol)

It’s a fine book, feels very sturdy and was a fair price but it’s jusy too fat and wide for me personally. Once all my guest checks and receipts and other papers are stuffed in there, it’s really bulky. And for reference, I never put the whole guest check pad in my book yet it was still bulky. Also, I thought I would love all the pockets that this one has but they weren’t that useful to me. I prefer the AmEx server books that are longer and flatter with clear pockets. Just fits better in my apron and less is more. I have no doubts that this is a good server book though, just personal preference.

This book saved my life while starting a finer dining job, with a constantly changing menu.This book provides a place to insert my money, a back flap behind my inserted writing book to hold the merchant copy checks, as well as a pocket to hold my "bank" in. In addition to this, I am able to keep typed up cards with ingrediants and descriptions to reference, as well as my house wines incase they change.It has been 6 months and the interior of the money pocket is starting to come apart, but seeing that it is used 5-6 times a week, I understand that material can't hold up forever. For the price, this is a steal, and will help you organize your life!THIS IS A MUST BUY

The pocket for the tip receipts is too tight and short to actually fit my receipts in them so I had to mash them into it all night. They were wildly crumpled by the time I did my checkout. I’m not sure how anyone else makes this work? It’s also way thicker than I thought it would be.. kind of disappointed given the great riviews.

I use it at least 5 days a week at work and it has gotten a beating. It hasn't stood up as well as I would have liked, but considering how much I use it I guess I can't completely be shocked by this information. It's still usable and that's all that matters...at lthis time. I would definitely by this again.

I work in a high volume high intensity steakhouse. This book is very durable and it has quite a few pockets for keeping things organized. I can keep cash in one pocket, tickets in another, and other miscellaneous items I need to keep. I highly recommend.
