No chafing after 1 month heavy use -- works great
I've been using this harness for a month now for hiking and jogging with my high energy 60 pound dog. It's good! I use the back ring most of the time and wear the leash around my hips to create extra strength and the harness is strong and sturdy and works well and it's comfortable to walk him, as pulling is very mild. When I know we may encounter triggers that he can be reactive to and pull with all his might, I clip the leash to the front ring of the harness and it works 100% to cancel out his pulling, and he's very strong. I do not use the front ring outside of these circumstances because I can tell it puts his body in an awkward position so I only employ it for a few minutes at a time when extra strength is needed. And, there has been no chafing!!! Great design. I would buy this again in other colors. Very happy.

Small Neck and Medium Chest
I have to give this harness a 5-star review because this is the only harness our dog will walk with. She normally freezes and acts like the weight of the harness is keeping her from walking. Haha! She had this same brand of harness as a pup and eventually outgrew it. This dog will not put her head through a tight opening. She doesn't mind this harness because the part that goes over her head is large and doesn't touch her face. My dog is a mixed breed and has a barrel chest and a small neck; sizing for other harnesses would require her neck to be a size small and her chest to be a size medium. Pros: Works for dogs with small necks and large chests (choose size by chest size) The dog's legs are not constricted while walking The part of the harness that slips over the head is not tight. It's a large opening, so it doesn't push against the dog's face. A double leash can be used to prevent pulling. You can choose between 1" straps or 5/8" straps. Well-made, adjustable, and beautifully stitched Martingale loop at the back of the harness so it tightens slightly when you need to redirect the dog. "Chew Warranty" in case your dog accidentally gets hold of the harness and chews it... Cons: The clips for the 5/8" harness might be hard for people with big hands to unclip.

Wonderful harness
I was surprised how much I loved this harness. I only bought the harness, not the lead you can pair with it. I have two pullers and have been using an Easy Walk and a Halti front control harness for years. They walk great in those harnesses, and I will continue using and recommending them for front clips. However I wanted something that would clip on the back without giving all the control to the dog and this harness absolutely worked as promised. I got the large size, 1” width, for both my 45 and 50 pound Aussie. The fit is superb with all the adjustment points. The soft material where it may rub your dogs leg was so thoughtful. It must have been comfortable as neither dog acted like they noticed the change up. It is easy to put on and take off. You can do up two buckles, or one buckle by having your dog step into one side of it. Their warranty shows how much they stand behind their product. I paid $31 for my harness, and the warranty costs $15. If something were to happen that’s essentially half off a new harness - and they even take the old one back! Honestly the only thing that would make this harness better for me personally, would be a safety loop. My Halti has one built in that attaches to the dogs collar. If you have a dog-reactive spaz like I do, that safety is a life saver. I now find them invaluable and would love for 2 Hounds to offer or incorporate that.

Excellent product, lengthy warranty process
This is my third harness, and I have recommended to several friends and family members. I am disabled and use a walker. I have 2 two year old mastiff/Shepard mix dogs. I accidentally left the harnesses on while I took a bath and the one chewed through it. So I looked to see what I had to do to replace it. It is going to take weeks and I have to wait now to have the money to pay to ship the torn one back to them so they can send me another. I needed the harness immediately so it is going to have to wait. But I will do it so I have a spare. I do have to hook the leash to another leash so they don't get tangled in my walker, but it works great. The girls do not pull me at all, hence the reason I have recommended it so many times. They are easy to use as soon as you figure out which way they go on. My girls see it and come and just put their head right through it and stand still for me to latch it, so it must not be uncomfortable for them. I just wish the warranty process was easier, hence the loss of as star.

Best harness
Best harness for a pulling dog because of the 2 points of clip ons. Way better than prong or choke collars cause it won’t cause any harm to the dog and controls the entire dogs body well. Our trainer suggested this and def recommended. This is my 3rd harness for our 3rd dog.

Works for my GSD
If your young dog pulls on walks or has a high prey drive you might want to try this no pull harness. We’ve used a martingale collar, a slip lead, a gentle leader/head halter, and even an E-collar, but my 1 year old GSD can push through all of them and will eventually become frustrated and muzzle rub on my shins or have a tantrum in the grass. The 2Hounds No Pull Harness is the first dog accessory that really helps me keep him under control and allows me to easily redirect him without escalating the situation or applying pressure. I honestly didn’t think this would help since he’s really strong, but it’s been a game changer! It must have something to do with the placement of the front chest clip. Also, it’s adjustable, seems really durable, and well made. Overall it’s been a great purchase for price and I really appreciate the velvet material on the part that fits closely to his chest. This should help prevent hair loss and skin irritation. + Made in the U.S.A 🇺🇸 + Chew warranty & hassle free replacement.

Gently tighten
A "Two Hounds" harness, black as night, Gives breathing room and pure delight. Only when my dog tries to race, Does it gently tighten, to keep their pace. Now we go out, happy and free, A perfect fit, for my dog and me.

Very Disappointed
I've always really liked these carters. We have been buying 2hounds for quite a while. However, this last one i bought for my Australian Shepherd just didn't hold up. We just bought this in May of this yr (2025), and today we were on a walk and it literally just pulled apart. SO disappointed in this brand..I don't know what has changed but I think I'm going to buy the easy walker. We used to buy them yrs ago when we had our trio of Australian Shepherds. They literally lasted their entire lives.
