This works great with my APC Back-UPS BX1500G connected to my NAS running Unraid. No configuration was needed, it just worked.

There's not much to say about a cable that achieves the purpose in which it is designed. I purchased this variant with a serial connector and another of the same seller with a USB connector (USB serial adapter). Both cables function as intended. It seems well constructed and I get the impression that it could stand up to a little bit of abuse, not that I will attempt to test such claims intentionally. I like the design of the flat cable, and the periwinkle color makes it stand out visually against other nearby cables if it is left plugged in. The cable comes in a resealable bag and it is fairly easy to roll the cable back into a coil and place back into the bag for storage. I used them to program a Brocade ICX switch which uses a Cisco-type serial jack for programming, but I also have occasional run-ins with Cisco switches as well, so it will be nice to have these in my arsenal.

What to say about a Cable... This is a Cisco Style serial cable to program a router... It will work on more types of Router than
