Used on Chalk paint and shellac
Did a four poster bed in chalk paint and shellac - big mistake! The shellac holds dirt and lint and after a while just looks a mess. Got this product as it said it works, which it does, and it doesn't stink the house out. It isn't a miracle product, but it does work and you can wash down with water when done for the day. It's a huge mahogany wood panel bed, so I am just doing it bit at a time, starting with the dirty sections. It looks better already - better clean wood than grimy chalk paint - so just looks like a real shabby chic job or maybe a work in progress. Paint some on, I'm not using the spray, go do something else, come back, paint another coat on, go do some more something elses, then come back and scrape the paint off. Wash down with water (brings the residue off and a bit more paint), dry with a cloth and all is well, you can continue to use the item, in this case can make the bed and sleep in it that night, not discernible fumes.

Does the job.
What more can I say? Used it to remove some very thick multi layer paint off some terracotta tiles on my windowcill. Took three applications but it was very thick and layered paint so I wasn't surprised. They came up lovely.

Not for hard jobs
It would be great if it worked , but it doesn't. I bought it to strip one layer of red gloss off the front door. I sprayed it on and came back after 45 mins. It had dried to a white dusty coating and nothing had happened. I kept on spraying and coming back for the whole until the whole bottle was finished. The result was some really wet areas that bubbled up and the the paint came off completely. Some areas it had no effect on. Maybe it was the front door and the situation and it works better indoors. At least it doesn't burn your hands and washes away with water. I think it could work but not on outside jobs.
