This amp dropped to 279 from Orion themselves wish i got that deal paid $349 from them on Ebay sorry Amazon you need to suck it up and let us use paypal at checkout that pay in 4 is dope pro tip here turn that feature on! Anyway this amp is destroying a pair of 12" Skar SDR's no clippping lite yet so might be safe i did go full tilt on my RP 1200.1d like 12 on the gain trying to pop these SDR's but they can take the pain now on this Orion 2.3k amp it's at 10 on the gain using bass knob and i can barely turn that remote knob up just a squeek!!! lol and it rumps impressed with the amp response/lows/hit are on point in a strong clean way and those cheap azz SDR's but can't wait to get some bigger subs for this amp is sick but recommend getting the 3k it's about the same price and they're selling out of this 2.3k amp it's gone from their site and ebay. EDIT: Now that i upgraded the SDRs to EVLs they need 2500 watts rms and this just happens to be one of the "actual true rms amps" they have and claim they will only do as stated i have the email. Anyway i counted on this amp having the headroom to push out 2.8k if not 3k after watching Dynos of the DZ models which are a class below the pro which these DX's are PROs should be better right? Nope just more expensive this is a disappointment from Orion sense they're rebooting the company and trying to go back to their roots. Only but this amp on sale for 275 or less it will only push a pair of 1000 watt rms subs don't try and get more then 2k out of it and make sure you don't clip this thing will melt you subwoofers coils!!!
