Fun
My 4 year old loves the book Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes and this game was a huge hit. He isn’t great with games and this was super easy to learn, only lasts a few minutes and was fun enough we played a few times in a row.

Cute game
The media could not be loaded. This is a very cute game. As an early childhood special educator I’m a big fan of Educational Insights games. Their games and activities are very engaging, educational and fun for kids. However , the guitar 🎸 doesn’t stop on one color only but between 2 colors so it’s very frustrating for my 3-4 year old students which color card to get so they end up pressing the button on the guitar several times until it lands on only one color. Also, I wish they used all the colors in the book red, blue, brown and white. Brown is missing. My 4 year old student and I noticed that. She said “there’s no banana and color yellow in the story. There’s no green, too.”After reading the book “I love my white shoes,” I asked my students to recall in sequence what Pete stepped into that changed the color of his shoes that’s why kids remember. That’s why I only gave 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Fun for children and their grown-ups
This is a great learning tool with my grandson's favorite character. It's not torture for the grown-ups either!

Wrong game sent twice
I have ordered this game several times for gifts. All recipients have enjoyed playing. The little guitar and the clever way you can change the shoe color makes it a winner for 2 and 3 year olds. Unfortunately twice the wrong game was sent. This has left me in the lurch when I was counting on having it for a birthday or holiday. I won’t be ordering it again.

It's a hit!
The game is very simple, even for my 4 yr old but he seems to enjoy it a lot. Even his 8 yr old brother seems to enjoy playing it with him. Overall, I'd say it was worth the money but may be more suited to 2-3 year olds, if you were hoping for it to be educational.

Meh!
I thought my daughter would love this because she loves Pete the Cat… but she has no interest in playing it really. She’ll play it for a few minutes then get bored.
