Machine Fabric Dye Pod - Smoke Grey

Excellent product good colour coverage

I used this to dye the curtains in my front room. I had to use 4 pods but the colour took really well to the curtains. The dye did not stain the washing machine and I was happy with the results. Saved me money on buying new curtains.

Used it to darken very pale grey 95% cotton fabric and it worked very well, except the final colour was more pale green than grey. Didn't make much difference to me, but it may not suit your needs if you specifically want grey.

I’ve used Dylon dyes for years but never one of these pods. I wanted to use it to colour a white dressing gown but the results were disastrous. The dressing gown is ruined. Despite following the instructions there are purple stains all over. I wish I’d paid attention to the other reviews.

This dye brightened up my grey towels that were looking well used. It is easy to use .

Generally, these are good. Easy to use, even coverage. Recently, however, the range of colours has been reduced. The grey is actually more of a green. This is a common experience going by multipe reviews. Dylon really should act on this. Im not sure why it would not give the indicated results. Its an ok colour, but definately not what I expected.

Great dye, not streaky or patchy. Used it in the washing machine exactly as directed in the instructions. It covered the loss of colour in a pair of cream trousers, great colour too.

I tried a fabric paint which was very disappointing. So I was super-impressed with Dylon's even coverage and depth of colour. I am upcycling a sofa from a rental property which had an ink stain on a white cover. I thought I would have to replace the covers completely but the Dylon dye worked a treat and covered the ink stain! I am buying more Dylon pods to do the other cushions to match. The true test is if they all come out the same. I think the amount of dye per weight of fabric is very important to get the right colour.

Didn’t work did what directions said and only parts were dyed. Great idea no mess or fuss just toss in washer. Unfortunately my curtains are now two tone😢

I used this dye to remarked a pair of expensive jeans that had been dry-cleaned many times. The color took evenly to the material and the jeans look new. I would definitely use it again. The directions for use were clear and easy to follow and it left no dye behind in my front load machine.

I’m very disappointed with this product. It didn’t dye any of my fabric. I used the recommended amount but it was a waste of money. Would not recommend it.

I mean it’s alright but not what you would expect I have some spots where it’s purple, and there’s no kind of measurements to mix with water
