I recently purchased the Wolfbox G850 12" Dash Cam and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! This dash cam is an absolute game-changer when it comes to capturing high-quality footage on the road. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it an outstanding addition to my vehicle. First and foremost, the clarity of the video recordings is simply remarkable. The G850 records in full HD 1296p resolution, ensuring that every detail is captured with utmost precision. Fitted to our Discovery 3 so we could fill the back with camping gear and still see out of the back window. I now use it all the time and love it. It took a couple of days to get used to the fixed rear view that doesn't move as you move your head, for the first few minutes it gave me slight motion sickness but I became used to it very quickly. It's great to be able to see clearly behind you and also lower down when parking. I've found the menus simple and easy to use, and being able to replay videos on a large screen instead of an app or squinting at a tiny 1" display is great. Using your finger to scroll the view up and down works well. I've hardwired mine and connected the supplied cable to the reversing lights so it goes into wide-angle view with lines (adjustable) for parking. If I had to criticise anything it would be the lack of WiFi / Bluetooth, so to get the videos off I have to remove the MicroSD card. I won't mark it down for that as I knew ahead of time this was the case and with how rarely I ever take footage off, I opted to buy it anyway. A future version with a good high transfer speed app ideally using WiFi (even better one that would connect to my home WiFi and allow remote access) would make it perfect. Another tiny issue I had which may not be an issue for other people is the front facing camera does not quite aim far enough to the right, because of the angle I have the interior mirror at. If your mirror is relatively square and not angled over a lot you probably won't face this issue. It still captures enough of the road for us, but we can't have it completely facing directly forward, it's off to the left slightly. The wide angle means it's not much of an issue. Camera quality and image is good. In direct light there is some glare, but the anti glare film available from Wolfbox reduced this. I initially thought I'd use it sometimes and turn it off to use as a normal mirror. To be honest, it's not ideal as a normal mirror, it's usable but darker than normal. This doesn't bother me as I'm now using it with the screen on full time. I ended up 3D printing my own bracket for the rear camera to ensure it was held at the perfect angle secured with VHB tape to my rear screen. I've installed mine inside which means it isn't getting attacked by water or dirt, and I can't say the quality has been an issue through the tinted glass, it's fine. We even have our rear window blanked out for sleeping in the car and the small camera allows us to still see behind without removing this. All in all, would definitely recommend. Installation simple, quality good, and their support agent I've had email conversations with has been excellent. I will probably recommend my partner gets one for their next car.

Installation was fairly easy, the only difficulties were because of the vehicle type (converted camper) and the routing of the rear camera. However on power up my unit did not switch on, tried through both hardwire kit and power adapter sources but no response from the unit. Even tried it in another vehicle but with no luck. Contacted Wolfbox and after checking a few things they sent a replacement unit. New unit is working and is a great addition to my campervan - great bit of kit, good images both front and rear. Looking forward to getting to use it: hopefully no more issues will be encountered. Just to send my thanks to Alice (Wolfbox customer support team) who handled and resolved my issue!

After much internal debating I decided to get one of these expecting it to be cheaper end chinese type poorer quality. Wow was I wrong. Everything you need is in the box and it is so simple to install and setup. I have put it in a Jag XF with the rear camera on the back windscreen. It works a treat, picture quality is incredible, starts and stops recording automatically, simple to use, loads of useful settings including the ability to adjust the camera view via the touch screen. I did not install the reversing lines as my car already has a reversing camera. I have to admit to being completely wrong for my original retisence, it is a quality product and does the job plus a little more. Note that the camera for the front IS in the right place on this model and all of the leads are easily long enough. I had at least 2 metres more than I actually needed to install the rear camera and the power cable went around the screen, behind the dash under the chairs and into the rear power socket. Great value for money.

I would say wow fir this product, very useful with 4k cam only missing there is no apps for the cam, they should make a cam for phone.

He probado la cámara esta misma mañana y me ha sorprendido gratamente. Respuesta muy buena y los menús, que ya no son un listado, ahora son iconos. La calidad de imagen y video es muy buena, pudiendo seleccionar la resolución (de ello depende el almacenamiento utilizado). Una vez ajustadas las cámaras, con deslizar el dedo sobre la pantalla se puede ver todo el campo que abarcan. La sensibilidad del sensor se puede modificar (al máximo, simplemente al cerrar la puerta la cámara se activa y comienza a grabar, algo bueno para cualquier golpe que recibamos estando aparcados). La tengo instalada sobre el retrovisor de un BMW 320d (F30) y se ajusta a la perfección, y al igual que con la 840 de la que vengo, no echo en falta para nada el retrovisor de serie, se ve perfectamente el reflejo y no es nada molesto por la noche con los reflejos. Muy contento con la compra la verdad.

Excellentes Produkt. Hab erst einen Spiegel ohne WiFi erhalten, nach einiger Diskussion mit dem Lieferanten (sehr schnell, sehr gut!) wurde mir dann kostenlos ein neuer zugeschickt. Undedingt empfehlenswert. Der Spiegel selber ist super, möchte ihn nie wieder missen.
