Great book
Book kept a good flow, written in such a way that I could visualize it like scenes from a movie. I enjoyed it great vacation read

I would recommend off the story alone. It does have a message for someone to receive.
Caprice Tatum returns to Atlanta decades after she fled the night an unspeakable traumatic event happened to her. Only this time she's Wicket, the international pop star who is also known to the world as Ladonna Sterling, daughter to Billionaire Richard Sterling. Onstage she is a perfect diva, selling out concerts, and topping the charts but offstage she was haunted by her past trauma. The only way she feels she can make it right is to get revenge on those who wronged her all those years ago. As Wicket began to mingle in the Atlanta Elite Circle scene and was seeing her former tormentors, she began to unravel which could put her and people she trusts at risk including her childhood crush Jonovan. When her father suggested she seek therapy through Dr. Marcella Spencer. First off this book jumps right into it. I was taken on a journey with Caprice, living moments in the past of her life that were such horrific things to go through as a kid. I had tears flowing so bad I had to put the book down for a second to catch my breathe and continue. Then to jump back to present Ladonna Sterling in all her fame and fortune was THAT B*TCH!! She made sure to flaunt that... in front of her peers. But you also got to understand Caprice, Ladonna, and Wicket and their significance to her life. A true example of money can not fix old wounds, trauma, or whatever people refuse to unpack that route to their problems. Going back to Atlanta was probably the best thing for her in the long hall. However, I do have a bone to pick about missing scenes (in my opinion). Without giving spoilers I picked up on two main themes throughout the book and is even mentioned in the summary on the back are her intimacy issue and her need for revenge. There were some scenes I would have wanted more detail such as, what happened with Cherie? A scene explaining it. And just knowing her experience and other things with intimacy that happened in the book I would have loved to experience more of the obvious happy time. But overall I liked the message and I would recommend off the story alone. It does have a message for someone to receive.

Never Disappoints
I haven’t read anything by Zane in a long time. This one was a great read. Still her classic erotica, but a Really interesting plot.

loved it
What I like most about this book is, it was so easy to read it was like you were watching a movie in your mind. I never lost interest in the bug. I read the whole thing in a day and a half.

Wicked Wicket!
After waiting YEARS for Zane to add on to the series of Dr. Marcella, you would think she would have came swinging from tree limb to tree limb, but unfortunately, all she did was climb the tree. As some reviewers already stated, this wasn't the same Zane that I fell in love with ("Addicted," "Nervous," "Afterburn," "Total Eclipse of the Heart," and "The Hot Box"). The Prologue, which I believe is extremely too long, slightly turned me off from the book. It took me FOREVER to complete it. Once I finished it, the book picked up a little bit for me but it didn't give me the grittiness that I needed or wanted. I was disconnected from the character, although I felt sorry for her. The explosive sex scenes that Zane normally gives wasn't present in this novel. Caprice/Ladonna/Wicket's journey to revenge could've slightly been better. The last chapter--not Epilogue--did excite me though, but that was that. I was entertained in some areas, obviously since I finished the book, but there are missing pieces to the puzzles. I have questions. I felt like the ending was rushed. Just...it was an okay read. Part of me wishes the book would've been about Dr. Marcella. I wanna know more about her. After three books, I still don't know her besides the fact that she seems very nice, but what's her story. Can that be the fourth part, Zane? Also, why did Caprice/Ladonna choose the name Wicket? I hoped after everything else you tried to explain, there would have been an explanation of that. It's not important, but the thought ran across my mind. All in all, it was an okay read. I would forever support Zane because she puts out bangers. I KNOW she will come back better than this.

Great read
This book was everything good, I see doctor marcelle spencer was also mentioned in this book as well the same therapist that was also mentioned in the book nervous. Caprice and her mom and grandma were also both victims of sexual assault by a sick disgusting a close personal member. Glad she got her revenge , finally found real love. But those human she referred to as pets I didn’t like very much. Overall this book is awesome and a great read.

Wouldn't mind seeing a movie version. I liked every minute of the book. I can't wait for another one by Zane.
