⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars I purchased a MaticoopX for my first incubation project, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The incubator maintained temperature and humidity very well throughout the entire hatch. Setup was straightforward, and the automatic turning feature made the process much less stressful for a beginner. Out of 27 developing eggs, I had an excellent hatch rate, and the chicks emerged healthy and active. The humidity recovery after opening the lid was faster than I expected, and the controls were easy to monitor and adjust when needed. What impressed me most was how hands-off the incubation process became. As long as I kept an eye on the water levels and followed the hatch instructions, the incubator did the rest. For anyone looking for an affordable incubator that delivers reliable results, especially first-time hatchers, I highly recommend the MaticoopX. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and helped make my first hatch a success.

Bought this for my husband . We decided we wanted to hatch our own chicken eggs instead of having my dad do it . First time ever doing this and the process went so smooth. This incubator held temperature and humidity levels good until the very last few days for lock down then we could not pour all the water in the directions said to or it shot our humidity up really high . Possibly bc we already live in a high humidity state. We used only the little part A water holder for the whole time . Our hatch rate was 15 out of 17 . We enjoyed it and the ease of use so much my dad and 1 other family member also purchased one for them to use. They are both more seasoned and have owned many incubators both liking this one. The directions were an easy read and easy to follow . The egg holders worked. Everything cleaned up easily. It's not an overly large incubator we had ours on a bench so our kids could have it eye level. I would definitely say we got our money's worth with it and we would recommend it .

These are my favorite incubators, hand down. I have had my original for two years basically running nonstop, and just added a second one to my collection. Outperforms farm innovator products, kebbonix products, and all other cheap amazon incubators. Very accurate, and the variation in temperature is very minor compared to others. Holds humidity perfectly. I have had my best hatch rates ever with this incubator. I need 3 more!

This incubator is very easy to set up and use. The digital temperature and humidity display is clear and accurate, making it simple to monitor the conditions. The automatic egg turner works great and saves a lot of time. It runs quietly, feels well made, and has plenty of space for eggs. Overall, it’s an excellent value for beginners and experienced users alike. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best incubator I have ever used. My previous incubator was a pain with the water, hard to maintain temps and humidity was all over the place. This coop you put them in and forget until it's hatching day. The temp and humidity hold so well that my eggs actually start hatching before the due day. Last clutch started hatching the day I took them off rotation. I love how easy it is to take the top on and off. Even when I candled, the temp and humidity went right back within minutes. My hatch rate was over 90%. I only had 2 eggs not hatch. One that stopped after the first candling at some point and the other that never pipped. Unreal hatching rate. Cons: humidity at the end is hard to keep below 80. Not when they hatch. That's expected but they recommend you pour an entire bottle of water in at the end for hatching. I've found that if you do, humidity goes above 70 and remains there. It hasn't seemed to affect the hatching rate but I also don't pour an entire bottle in to keep humidity reasonable. 2. This seems to be common with incubators... They are a pain to clean. This one isn't as bad as some. You can't clean the top as much as I would like and the sharp edges underneath the grate mean hard to clean corners. Toothbrushes, toothpicks and cotton swabs work but it's still annoying. Rounded edges would make for much smoother clean out. 3.. There is no battery backup cord. I really wish it had one because power outages are inevitable. Also... Like with any incubator, once the eggs start hatching you're gonna wanna hope they all hatch in a similar time frame. The water underneath gets gross quick. It's unavoidable but if a water removal option were available so that you could change out the water, it would help keep that cleaner. The incubator doesn't smell though so A+. Ventilation is spot on. Pros: I really mean it when I say set and go. The consistency is so incredible that I only candle once to ensure any unfertilized eggs are removed. The turning racks are great. Large enough even for my extra large eggs. You have the option of laying them flat or standing them up. Remember pointed side down for the air bubble and you're good to go. Def holds 30. The grate for hatching is perfect. No flimsy grate that sags in the water. I would recommend this incubator over and over and over and have. If they made a larger one I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I worried over the price. Is it really worth it? Can't I just get a mid tier option? Pay the money. This has already earned itself back and then some. I'm actually considering a second one so that I can run them together. I think it would actually be a better option than some of the larger ones. There's aYT video where a guy compares this incubator to another popular brand. It really sold it for me so if you're still not convinced, look it up.

Fantastic! Easy to use and I had 21 out of 24 chicks hatch.

This incubator has been fantastic! The humidity control and automatic egg turning features are great! We are using it for hatching out our Red Golden Pheasant eggs, which are quite a bit smaller than chicken eggs. That lets us get 40 eggs into this at the same time. (Because of the smaller size of the eggs, we have put a strip of foam padding along one side of each of the trays to hold the eggs more securely so that the eggs don't "bang" roughly into the other side of the tray when it turns.) On average, our pheasants are only laying one egg per day, so the programmed 21-day cycle doesn't really apply to us since the 40 eggs in it were all laid with more than a month spread from the first to the latest. That hasn't been a problem at all so far. I just keep resetting the day count each time it counts down. Keeping the egg turner running while an egg is hatching doesn't seem to be any problem at all, either. The egg turner is slow and gentle enough that it doesn't seem to bother the chicks' escape from the eggs. The fan is quiet enough that we can easily hear a chick peeping when we come into the room, letting us know that there is one out of its egg, even before we look in to check. We then transfer the hatched chick to our nursery bin so that we don't have to worry about a chick getting injured by the automatic tray turnings. So far, this incubator has been totally problem-free, and we highly recommend it.

UPDATE: Now that I've been incubating for couple of weeks noticed that there maybe slight gradient with the temp. The temp could be a wee bit lower in the corners or sides which are further from the heating element. This was based on chick develop differences of just one hatch so more trials needed to confirm. I suspect the fan is just a hint less powerful than optimal. This great for kudos about it's quietness. Its quieter than my little bators. But, now I think this is because possiblythe fan isn't quite as strong as optimal. A minor thing is what many complain about which is humidity. But here you just need get the hang of filling. You need fill the little box multiple times.. watch the number..This is just getting used to it /figuring it out but I'd not fault it on this. #1 with these things is maintaining that temp. This one does it. And the digital readout temp tests true. Additionally, it also has a nice humidity readout which many do not include which also has tested accurate. One can easily adjust the temp and it has days-left indicator which connects to the auto-turning off/on. If you have the right amount of eggs per tray or some artificial type eggs or something for spacers you have the choice of hatching them vertically. However they to need lean against each other for this . But this gives chance to hold more eggs while using the auto turning. The humidity instructions aren't clear. You need to fill multiple times the box as it flows underneath and fills the chamber there. I have found that tipping the unit just a hair bit helps to test if you've filled those areas underneath (not visible when set up). You may need to put little bit extra via the second chamber to get it to 50% or more. And you may need to frequently top off the first one. But with that nice humidity readout you are informed. Don't forget it takes some time maybe hour + to be stable: see details below for more info on humidity. I love the candling light and its excellent. Another nice plus is the design makes for nice brooding area. Unit is quiet and runs smoothly. Good customer service via email (no phone). - Highly specific/small details/tips- As far as that humidity. It can get there, you may just need fully fill both chambers and keep then full. That's not hard to do. Now if it can get there in a dry 78F+ room dunno. The warmer and dryer your environment the more humidity will be challenged. I'd add extra water, give it 1.5 hrs to see if you can get it up to 50%, adjust accordingly- water, room temp. In other words, some thinkin/fiddling may be needed but it can be done. What would improve: a. Ability to turn off turner whenever you wished b. Improved instructions on the water adding, clarity of expression and bit of the grammar/spelling (least important). Tip: This great candling light makes it extra easy to check to see your eggs have well formed air bubbles. If they haven't and especially if they've been shipped, continue to keep them point down on moist surface before incubating.

El otro detalle que si la temperatura ambiente está a más de 30grados,sube demasiado la humedad a 66 % de humedad. y es mucho y si la temperatura ambiente está a 30 o 29 o menos la temperatura se pone correcta maximo 58% de humedad que es aceptable. Otras son mejores para tiempo de calor y esta tiene su complicación solamente ese detalle porque saca el casi 100% de los huevos fértiles.

This is a good incubator. I have had it for a few years now and have hatched probably a hundred birds. Turkeys and chickens. I especially like how you can see through the top all the way around without needing to open it. The temperature and humidity are consistent. I had bought a more expensive one as well from a different place, but perfer this one. It's hard to clean it without spilling water over the motor. But with two little screws you can remove the motor and dry it. It's well done.

Hands down my favorite "small" incubator. I've used everything from the Nurture Right 360, to the cheap yellow and clear incubators and will probably chose this one every time. These a great for beginners and seasoned hatchers alike. They are completely plug and play with easy instructions. I've been running mine from Feb-July straight, with no issues or indication that its slowing down or burning out. On my own farm raised eggs, I get between 85%-100% hatch rates. A few things to note or help with better hatch rates: - The packaging isn't the greatest from the manufacturer. The yellow baskets are loosely packed into the incubator which sadly allowed them to scratch up the clear plastic of the cover during shipping. Not a huge deal, just a bit ugly looking. - Invest in a secondary thermometer/hydrometer. I do see that it runs a bit cooler compared to what it's showing on the lid, but I do have mine in my basement. Having a second thermometer can easily fix this. BUT, I have just "run it as it" at 100.5 degrees without a secondary unit, and still had great hatch rates. - Controlling humidity can be tricky, BUT there is a very easy solution. Take a water bottle, poke a hole in the lid of it. Get a shoestring, feed one end of it in the water bottle (filled with water), and the other into Port A. Place just a bit of the string in Port A, and if you need more humidity, simply feed the string in more. If you need lower humidity, take some of the strong out and open the air vent just a bit. But always give it an hour to 2 to stabilize before making more adjustments. - Basket liners and elastics are important if you have smaller eggs. I put kitchen shelf liner strips in each basket to ensure that the eggs are staying still when the baskets are rotating. I also put an elastic at one end of the basket to help keep my eggs together (they are medium size). This helps them not bump and crack when the baskets are rotating. - During lockdown, put a shelf liner down for the bottom. This helps the chicks stand and walk properly without slipping or getting their legs caught in the bottom grates. It also helps for easier clean up! My only feedback is, that if i have 30 eggs go to lockdown, I find it a bit cramped when they are hatching. I've now moved to moving eggs to a bigger, separate incubator for hatching which seems to work for me. This also helps me prolong the life of the incubator (no baby fluff getting into the fan), and clean up is a breeze when I'm simply wiping/disinfecting instead of having to fully wash out egg shells and poop every time. My bigger unit is cheap but very easy to clean, so this has saved me a lot of time and $$ running both!
