Very helpful for senior patients when getting into or especially out of bed. Only criticism is that surface is metal so cold for old hands to latch on to.

Needed side rails to keep from falling out for my father in law. This provided what we needed and I was able to screw it into the adjustable bed base so it works with tilt features. Looks good and does the job.

I really like this Able Life bed side rail. It’s very sturdy, and solid, which greatly improves safety while sleeping. Assembly was very simple. It easily retracts and extends which makes it easy to get in and out of bed. A great feature is that The Able Life doesn’t look like it belongs on a hospital bed. It actually blends in with the bedroom decor. I feel that it’s worth the cost.

My 87 YO mother-in-law had fallen out of her bed and we needed a solution to keep her safe at night. Sleep Number didn't have a great option for their current setup, so I rolled the dice on this bed rail. It really worked out perfectly. I lifted the mattress off the frame and screwed this to the top half of the wooden bed frame. So, when they raise the head of the bed, this bed rail moves with it. It is flexible enough that you can collapse or extend it to work with most setups. Since installing this, we have had no issues with falling out of the bed, and she even uses it as a handy grab bar to help her stand up when getting out of bed. This was a very affordable and effective solution to a dangerous problem.
