I use this within the house, from the basement to the main floor. I have an exercise bike setup that I don't necessarily want to pause middle of workouts. This bell allows me to draw attention that I need something to support an ill-prepared workout (ie not enough drink or need more gels). Ideally, I wouldn't need to use it, but inevitably always forget something, and this is a much more polite way to get the attention of others for support that screaming at the top of my lungs. It has many different sounds/tunes to select from (and are plenty loud to be heard), which was kind of fun. Have had no range issues, missed rings, or errant rings when not being pushed. I love it and would highly recommend for anyone that needs a fun doorbell either in the house, or even for your front door!

First, I want to say that this product is a good value. I looked at just about every wireless doorbell option on Amazon, read countless reviews, and after great consideration I chose this product and I'm glad I did. For a small amount of money and 10 minutes of my time, I have a functioning doorbell.First the fun part...selecting your chime. Very easy to do as per the instructions: on the unit you plug into the wall, press the music up or music down button until you find the one you like. The volume control is in the center between those two button and has about 4 different volume levels. Once that's done, just follow the instructions for the button sequence to pair the wall unit and the outdoor button. It worked perfectly for me on the first try. Overall, selecting my music and pairing took 5 minutes.This product comes with double-sided tape to install the outdoor button if you have a non-porous surface. However, I was installing onto wood framing and wanted to use screws (provided). To do this, you must separate the back and front piece by installing a small screwdriver into one of the slots and pushing gently. The two sides immediately popped apart. The back side has two indentations for screws, but I don't recommend trying to screw directly into the plastic. Instead, get a 1/8" or slightly larger drill bit and ream out the indented space. Test out the provided screws into your holes to ensure they sit flush.Installation is then a simple matter of screwing the base directly onto the wood frame and then popping the front back on. Were it not for having to get out my drill and bits, the installation would have taken less than 2 minutes. Due to the process of drilling/reaming out the holes on the back of the product, it took a total of 5 minutes.This is a very compact and upscale looking doorbell button, and the wall unit is quite compact as well. I've plugged mine into the GFCI outlet behind my microwave on the kitchen counter and can hear it just fine throughout most of my single level home.My only negative on this product is that the chime has a slight tinny quality, but given the price, I don't deduct a star.

Can’t ask for more than that!! Beyond easy to ”install”/use. Has plenty of sound options ranging from ur norm ding dong to elaborate tunes, and of course some cute playful tunes. Shipping was very fast, one day n it was here early in the day. Perfect. Don’t hesitate. Buy THIS doorbell for a loud ((it has volume control)) extremely EASY “install”, well made and good looking doorbell!!I have the Ring Doorbell/camera, & I have been looking for doorbells bc we have 2 Ring camera doorbells and then 3 of their cameras set up around our home/property. Tho my husband set up the Ring Doorbell/cameras at the garage side door, and in front of the garage. Smh If ur asking WHY trust me, so do I. Daily. Made zero sense to me. He said bc that’s where things r delivered for his business but never once has anyone hit that bell. They come to the front n we don’t hear them n it’s a whole thing. We needed a doorbell. Ya know... at our FRONT door! Lol Started looking for an additional Ring doorbell n it’s like $140 n I refuse since we already have 2!!! Luckily found this doorbell and it caught me eye bc of the ratings n bc of its look. It actually matches the Ring equipment pretty well ((I got it in black) so I figd let’s try it out. Omg. So happy I did. The price. Just can’t get over that part. N the ease of use...can’t possibly be any easier. My husband asked when it came how much it was n I asked what he wld think.... he said what like $40. Nope. $12 n then I clicked on the discount so what was it like $9-10?!?! Can’t. beat. it!!!!!!!! **** Get this doorbell!!*****

Update: I still love it --- ordered a second for my back gate because that is where everyone comes to....and my friend wanted one. Everything may have a challenge (I have not experienced any). Even in extreme weather it still works. I set a different tone from the front and back so I know which door to go to. Loud. For the price - you cannot go wrong. It does not look cheap - it has a classy look compared to the original door bell. You cannot get a better product for the price. I told my friend it was about $30 and when I went back to order it for her - I am like wow. I do not recommend buying products - just leave feedback on my experience - but you really can't go wrong for the price. Ooops I just read my old review and said the same things -- wow, it just did not change. (posted 6/5/20).I love it. I had got it for our back door/gate because you can get to our back door/gate through a slight inclined ramp but the stairs are in the front. We still have people come and the doorbell does not always work so I decided to install there - it is soft but loud. I just ordered another one for the back gate. We have dark brown trim so it goes. We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath house and I can hear when I am in the back of the house. Of course, I do have natural doorbells - my dogs :-). I am not big to recommend products because your experience will be different - but for the price, style, ease of installing, you really can't go wrong.
