Structural Depth PE Civil Engineering Exams - Two Full Exams with Solutions

This book is very similar to the NCEES practice exam in terms of types of questions and difficulty. I used it to study for the new CBT PE Civil Structural Exam (Passed). Solutions are well done and I noticed very few errors. Sharpen your pencil and work as many practice problems as you can. I believe that was one of the keys that helped me pass. What I found worked for me was to take 10 problems at a time and set my timer to 60min. Also as you relearn some key concepts that you may have forgot, make flash cards and review them as needed and review days before the exam.

One of the very best books for civil structural exam takers, covers almost all topics expected in the exam.Highly recommended, value for money.

I bought this to test my knowledge before sitting for my PE Civil/Structures exam in late March 2024. On April 3rd, I received my passing result of my exam. This exam format in terms of the length of the solution to arrive to an answer is very similar to the actual exam compared to other resources that is lengthy. But, it does not go beyond the regular topics which is only about 50 Percent of the exam. Improvement to this resource could be made in the future editions to contains questions uncommon to get the exam takers to look out of the box and use uncommon parts of the applicable codes and expect such things that appear in the actual exam.

Ill formed questions. Poor question quality. Very unhappy with this purchase. DO NOT BUY.

About as close as you can get to real structural depth problems on the civil PE exam. Just a wonderful resource.
