MOSTLY BROKEN PIECES
The media could not be loaded. I wanted whole star anise for some Christmas crafting and got only a few whole pieces in this 8 ounce package. There are a few whole ones but it is mostly just broken, unusable pieces. upon trying to process a return I’m told it’s not returnable. BUYER BEWARE!Very very disappointing.

it's ok, but they are small and black
Lots of fragments inside. It is very dark/black compared to another batch I got from a different vendor on Amazon(see photo) .The taste is OK, but Visually not appealing.

The picture is very deceiving. It looks like you will be getting a whole bag of whole stars but you don’t. You get a few whole ones and the rest pieces. Wanted to use these to make stovetop potpourri for gifts (needs to look pretty) and I’m pretty disappointed
