Very Effective System
Most kits for headlight lens restoration fail because they can’t clear the yellowing or they offer a clear paint that doesn’t last. This system provides sanding disks that start with 1000 grit up to 10000 that clears the sun damaged yellowing and polishing disks to get the lens smooth and clear again

Won't be show quality...
Product works great for price. Removes heavely destoyed headlights but does not give show quality. This is my work car & it did an amazing job compaired to $160 headlights new. The car is 200,000 miles & the price was right. You get what you pay for! I hope the shine outlast the car. Midwest rusty Hyundai Tuscon still lives. Lots of extra swirls from drill speed. No instructions. No wax or protector to put on with buffing wheel provided.

Excellent results
This package has the basics - the velcro wheel and all of the velcro sanding pads, buffing pads and scouring pads. You will need a drill, masking tape and some plastic polish. I used Mothers wheel polish (because that's what I had in my shop). The steps are on the side of the box, so don't discard the box. Took me about 1 hour to do 1 headlight (my first time ever doing this). I also finished off the process with some 303 plastic protectant (not included). The before picture doesn't show how yellow or fogged over they really were. I think the camera auto corrected some of the fog. The results blew me away. Perfectly clear just like brand new.

Cheaper than having it done I guess
Look at the clarity between the 2nd (a little fuzzy) and 4th (slightly clearer) picture. The difference is I used 3M lens cleaner on the 4th picture from the beginning of the process (all pads and papers). Maybe if I refined the process it would work even better. The instructions, that are obviously not translated well from chinese... and are NOT included in the package, you have to go back to the Amazon ad to get them, say only use water which is what I did on the 2nd picture.Clearly, lol, it made a difference, at night it was obvious as well when using the headlights. Do the 2008 headlights look new, no, but better. The chinese lack of Takumi, and Kaizen (look em up) is ever present, get it out cheap and in a hurry, the Americans will buy it, they are cheap. the lack of instructions in the package, the poor translation of the instructions on the ad, the lack of grit numbers on the scouring pads (also available on the web ad) make for a frustrating experience that was unnecessary, it would take so little effort to do things correctly, have a LITTLE pride in your "work". A product that probably costs $1.50 to make selling for $13 and you can't put an instruction sheet in the unmarked plastic bag? Really?AMAZON - I suggest (boldly) putting on the product description the ACTUAL country of origin. - china, Japan, India, etc. MAYBE that would create some pride in the "manufacturer" representing their country, and give us a preview of the quality we could expect. If I had 2 of these products side by side and one said china, and one said Japan, I would buy the Japanese one every time.
