G-MAC Metro Evo Jet Open Face Retro Classic ECE Road Legal Motorcycle Scooter Helmet

Bought this as my previous helmet was so noisy once above 40mph. Although this is a little tighter than my previous size medium helmets, (I’ve had them from 3 different manufacturers), it’s not uncomfortably tight and I’d rather a helmet encase the head than be loose. I particularly like the pull down visor but do miss my normal pulldown sun visor and, perhaps in the next generation of this helmet style, G-MAC would consider adding one. I also like 1. The positioning of the chin strap catch, being very much to one side, as I find it more comfortable when pulling the strap tight; 2. I also like the addition of a ring on the outside of the chin strap which I use to add a securing line to my helmet camera. They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think this is a particularly attractive helmet style, reminiscent of 50s and 60s but certainly built to 21st century latest standards (and beyond). Lightweight, comfortable, strong and good looking, this is a good helmet choice especially at the price. I recommend this one.

I purchased this as I needed a helmet for my restored moped. I was unsure of an open face but feel this was a perfect choice. The finish is a lovely matt black with yellow stitching. The large size fitted me well with a 58-59cm head size. The padding inside is very comfortable and doesn't seem to get very hot inside, A nice secure strap finishes the helmet off. If I could change one thing on this it would be the visor arms, although they seem quite solid, they do feel like plastic and I'm not sure how this will hold up over time. I guess time will tell but, overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Helmet arrived very quickly and was well packed. It looks to be well made and excellent value for the money. However I ordered a Large size(my head measures 59cm) but it is far too loose, so I have started the returns process and have now ordered a Medium size as a replacement. Note: My other helmets, a brand new LS2 and an older Shoei are both large sizes and they fit me perfectly. Replacement Medium sized helmet had now arrived(only took 2 days) and this one fits perfectly!

I really like this, I ride classic triumphs (not modern pretend ones) and these look right with black leathers.

It does look very nice, although the plastic feels like it can break very easily. Not comfortable, specially for glasses wearers and hearingaids! It pushes the ears down and leaves a sore spot on your ear. I have returned mine. Maybe it works better for non hearing aids wearers.

Looks great, the visor is a really good seal, I have to have the strap on last notch as I have a big head.

Bought for the retro look of this helmet, mainly for summer use keeping full face in colder weather. The strap is quick release and visor flips up but has no click position to hold only tightness of the hinge. I do find quite a bit of wind noise when riding compared to my other open face helmets, but fine for short rides.

Cost effective open face for summer months, comfortable Would recommend 👌
