A well-designed buck converter
Works as advertised and more. The conversion efficiency is quite high and the mosfets stay quite cool under load. Absolutely worth the price. I am using mine in a homemade power station, with a peak battery voltage of 50.4 V and an output of 12.4 V. The amp-hour measurement function is especially helpful. Overall this is a great product and seems quite well designed.

Powerful buck power supply with adjustable voltage and current limiting - deserves SIX stars
This is a superb piece of electronic equipment for a good price.!The primary display always shows output voltage, and the secondary can be switched from current to power, watts, A-h (for battery charging), and time. The display was accurate to ~2% V and A when it was first tested, but it was set within 0.2% following the manual. The regulator was built into a case with a large 36 VAC, 20 A transformer, full wave bridge, choke and large capacitors to make a 45 VDC, 20 A power supply. Due to transformer (not regulator) limitations, the full current is not available above 20 VDC out.One small quibble: the PDF manual for the WZ5005L MUST be downloaded to make full use of this device. For example the manual explains how to change voltage increments from 0.01 V to 0.1 V, 1 V or 10 V per click, and how to perform calibration. Read it carefully, and try to accommodate some minor gaffes in translation, to get the full utility of the excellent hardware.

works well,
Must get manual and read carefully, a bit non-intuitive

Works as described
This product worked as described and is easy to use. It did not come with a user guide and I could not locate one when ordering. I found a very thorough video review online with lots of technical information. Pay attention to the polarity when connecting the power supply. I don't see information as to reverse polarity protection but no harm was done. There is a small on/off switch on the circuit board, make sure it is off when connecting power. Setting the voltage and current is easy. The U/I button changes from voltage to amp setting, press the knob to select the digit then rotate the knob to the desired setting. Push and hold the I/U button to save and the input voltage screen appears. There are two 20 Amp surface mount device fuses on the circuit board. I will order an electronic enclosure/project box to make this safe to transport and use. I am using this to provide voltages to sensors on a forklift engine/systems training panel.

Bought Two of them, Still doesn't work
About five weeks ago, I bought one. The documentation is somewhere betweeen totally inadequate to poorly written. I searched and searced for a web page to download a pdf manual, no response. Anyway, the first one (sort of) worked for a day and then quit altogether (display went blank. I tried to return but the 30 day limit had exceeded. So I bought another one. This one, I set up by trial and error. Low Voltage Protection (I'm guessing that's what LUP means on the screen is set for 10V; after charging my LIFePO4 4S battery back to 13.4V for about 2 seconds, LUP kicked in and stopped the charging. I set it down to 5.8V, knowing my charging source (which is a huge Lithium Ion battery pack) is at 16.5V, and my pack being charged (LiFEPO4 4S) is down to around 12.9V. I set it to charge at 10A to 13.4V. Again, Low Voltage protection kicked in and shut down the charge. Unless I hear from the manufacturer soon, I will return it. BTW, I am a professional EE with degrees and lots of experience. I know what I'm doing.

Ebike battery to laptop charger!
This thing is great! I'm using it to convert a 36 volt e-bike battery down to 19.5 volts at 10 amps to directly charge my laptop via the DC port. So far it works absolutely wonders! It barely gets hot, the fan kicks on minimally - this may be because the voltage I'm converting is 36 only to 19.5 not a huge difference.Either way I'm blown away by the performance to cost ratio. For those of you also looking to make a high WHr DIY portable power banks to escape the remote life home office every now and then this buck converter is critical. Outlet anxiety is a thing of the past lol. Buy it you won't regret it, and if you do Amazon return policy is great 🤣

Technical Issue
Input 38V batterySet output voltage at 35VSet output continue current at 16AI was expecting 560W output, but the actual output is 25V and 16A with 400W out.The initial output voltage was at 30V as Set, but after about one minute the current reach 16A, then the voltage drop to 25V. Do any one know why and how to get higher watt output?
