It's a decent DVD set that serves its purpose. All episodes are here and in the best 1990s quality available, with the "tonight on Baywatch" previews before each episode intact.It should be noted that this is the north American DVD release, so not all of the music is consistent with the original TV version. Most notably the iconic Baywatch theme song has been replaced with a not as good substitute. But if you just wanna see the episodes as a casual fan it doesn't matter that much.I'm a little disappointed that the coverart doesn't match the other Baywatch DVDs in my collection (which i also go through Amazon Prime; my copies of seasons 1, 2, and three are mostly red in color and have consistent text placement and formatting), but that may be because they are a different release, as the original theme song is intact in seasons 2 and 3. It's a little befuddling that the version of season 4 that matches my seasons 1,2, and 3 DVDs wasn't available on Prime, though.The box art is nice... but I do have a small nitpick. The printing quality is rather blurry, and almost looks like a bootleg, despite this being (most likely) an official release. Because of this, the text on the back cover is rather blurry/pixelated, making it hard to read; it could have been a lot sharper (but hey, if you're already 3 full season into Baywatch, why do you really need to read the back cover? 😅)I really like the fact this DVD set has an actual scene selection for every episode, as it's convenient if I want to rewatch a scene or I stopped midway through watching an episode. However, I think I prefered the episode selection on my other disc sets better, as it just jumped to the episode automatically without me having to click through an extra screen. But it's a nice feature for anyone who doesn't finish episodes in one sitting, or is simply rewatching an episode for one segment.Overall, this is a decent box set that serves its purpose. It doesn't feel as slapped together as the other season box sets I own (I'm looking at you, season 2...😐), but I would have preferred to hear the show's music (including the theme song) intact, and less cheap-y printing on the box art.

For some weird reason I couldn’t watch the last episode called Guys and Dolls. It’s very disappointing considering I watched every other episode in Season 4.

I am a long time fan of Baywatch. I love all the episodes. This set of Season 6 was great. But I had to buy a Multi Region DVD Player to watch it. Because it was not available for region 1.

Als die ersten Folgen von Baywatch 1989 von CBS ausgestrahlt wurden, waren sie ein Flop. Der US-TV-Sender setze die Serie nach der ersten Staffel ab, doch David Hasselhoff nahm die Zukunft der Beach-Serie mit seiner Produktionsfirma All American Television selbst in die Hand und brachte ihn zum Welterfolg!Somit setzt sich die Baywatch-Ära weiter fort, die in der zweiten Staffel erst eine Einführungsphase hinter sich brachte und schließlich in der dritten gänzlich aufblühte, was sicherlich auch an dem Einstieg von Playboy-Star Pamela Anderson lag!Nun ist die komplette vierte Staffel von Kinowelt herausgegeben worden und diese Staffel setzt sich perfekt an die vorhergehenden an.Das schicke Digi-Pack enthält ein dazugehöriges Booklet, dass uns über den Inhalt jeder einzelnen Folge unterrichtet. Zwar ist das Klicksystem für die DVD's etwas schwer zu handhaben, lässt die DVD's aber einem beim Aufmachen nicht gleich entgegenspringen, was mir bei einigen Boxen anderer Serien schon passiert ist.An Bonusmaterial fehlt es eigentlich gänzlich, doch die Wichtigkeit hierfür muss jeder selbst für sich wissen, ich persönlich bin mehr an der eigentlichen Serie interessiert.Empfehlensreich wäre aber auch sich vorher Staffel 1,2 und 3 anzuschauen um den Verlauf der vielfach belächelten, inhaltlich minderbemittelten Strandsoap zu der erfolgreichsten US-Serie des 20. Jahrhunderts besser in Betracht nehmen zu können, obwohl die Handlungsstränge der Serie mehr auf die vereinzelten Episoden abgestimmt ist.Letzendlich dreht sich doch indirekt alles um den einerseits sonnigen, andererseits aber auch lebensgefährlichen Job der Rettungsschwimmer, die am Strand von Malibu dafür sorgen, dass niemand ertrinkt und sich jeder an die Regeln hält.Zu allerletzt ein großes Lob an Kinowelt, die mit der Herausgabe der Boxen auch an die Fans gedacht haben, denn das System der einzelnen Boxen ist vom Prinzip durchgängig gleich, was sich im Regal betrachtet besonders gut darstellt!
