MM325 Multimeter, Digital Manual-Ranging 600V AC/DC Voltage Tester, Tests Batteries, Current, Resistance, Diodes, and Continuity

I’ve been using the Klein Tools MM325 Multimeter for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs for both DIY and professional use. The build quality is solid—typical of Klein Tools—and it feels durable enough to handle daily use in a toolbox or on a job site. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lower light. The auto-ranging feature works accurately and saves a lot of time when switching between different measurements. It handles voltage, continuity, and resistance testing reliably, and the leads are sturdy with good flexibility. One of my favorite features is the backlight and data hold function—it’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference when working in tight or dark spaces. The battery life has been great so far, and the protective rubber case gives it a rugged feel that inspires confidence. If you need a dependable, mid-range multimeter without spending a fortune, the MM325 is a fantastic choice. Klein’s attention to detail really shows here. Great multimeter. Has a lot of functions, very easy to use, and even tells you where to put the leads for any particular setting. Highly recommend.

DIYer+ I’ve had this about a year, great unit, solid construction, great readability. Always trust Klein Tools. I had an electrician by my place testing voltages with a top of line pro meter. Same readings as this.

Finally just opend this up and got it out of the packaging. Like it so far. I am not too sure of its accuracy yet because I have not used it for more than checking battery life and a few things on continuity. Pretty solid and a good buy for the price. Not great, but good. I like the nightlight and the memory capabilities so far. Update: After using it a bit, it is pretty basic and its accuracy is a little off at times. For the price and my needs right now, I like it quite a bit. Just stuff around the house like to test a light switch for load and I have repaired a few aurge protectors with it. A solid purchase for my general needs.

Excellent quality and very easy to use

First, this ~$20 machine easily saved me $500. I have no experience in electrical panels either. I watched a quick youtube video on how to check circuit breaker power and bingo. I had power missing in part of my house and no breakers were tripped. All the breakers had power, or at least inside the house. Checked the outside breaker box, no breakers were labeled btw. Four switches didn't have power, and I discovered a separate trip switch. Turned that trip switch off, got power to the four. Then my stove didn't have power (the only thing left without power). I used the multimeter to check the plug-in for the stove and it didn't have power either. Used the multimeter to check the current in the power cord of the stove just in case, power cord was fine. Went back to the outside breaker box, turns out the "trip switch" wasn't a trip switch. Turned that back on, and boom power back to everything. Long story short, I used this multimeter with ease. It did the job, helped me trial and error breakers, wires and plug ins with no problem. Highly recommend for routine house electrical problems.

I needed a good battery tester, having experienced that the usual cheap ones were not very reliable. I decided that I may as well invest in a multimeter that could test batteries. I'm very pleased with this - exceptional quality for the price (YouTube reviews attest to build quality) - and it will test 1.5V / 9V batteries 'under load' to give an accurate remaining voltage reading. You have to use the supplied leads to 'touch' the battery +/-contacts so perhaps not as convenient as many specific battery testers, but this multimeter does have a built-in stand which means you have both hands free.

I had a cheap multimeter before that basically fell apart. This Klein model seems to be well made and has all functions that I will use. The digital display is easy to read and the automatic shutoff works as advertised - already tested that feature - 🙄. For what I will be doing with this unit, I’m glad I purchased this one.
