Game-Changer for Trim Work – DeWalt Delivers Again!
This 20V DeWalt pin nailer has quickly become one of my favorite tools in the shop. As someone who does a lot of finish carpentry and trim work, this thing is a total game-changer. No more dragging around a compressor and hose—just grab the nailer and go.The tool is lightweight but solidly built, and the battery life is impressive. I’ve used it on multiple projects in a row without needing a recharge. It fires 23-gauge pins cleanly and consistently, and I haven’t had any jams or misfires yet.Depth adjustment is easy and accurate, and it leaves an almost invisible hole—perfect for delicate work on moldings, cabinetry, or small craft projects. If you’re already in the DeWalt 20V ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. Even if you’re not, it’s worth considering making the switch just for the convenience and quality of this tool. Highly recommended!

Great tool
This tool is a game-changer! I wish I had it years ago. It’s perfect for trim work. The battery lasts all day, and it’s super reliable with hardly any jams. Plus, it’s much quieter than using a pin nailer with an air compressor. It’s definitely worth the money.

Exceptional nailer
As like most all DeWalt tools, this is very high quality and highly recommend getting it. I found it's limitations are for lighter nailing jobs such as corner trim and things like that. If you're trying to do crown molding, baseboards, and larger bonding areas, it's not quite up to the task due to the nail size it uses obviously. So, 18 gauge or 16 gauge will be more suitable. But if you're looking for a cabinetry work, delicate trim, etc... or any place you want a bond with almost no appearance of a nail, this is the tool!

Solid and reliable
So far very reliable. As a finished carpenter, I own many tools from several brands. Reliability and function are the most important factors. I look for in a tool. In my professional experience, 23 gauge nailers are the most finicky and problematic nail guns. I have owned almost every major brand, both pneumatic and cordless and every single one of them have issues with feeding the nails and misfiring. I purchased this gun to replace my Milwaukee cordless. The Milwaukee was much smaller and lighter weight, but was so unreliable. It would only feed if I used a partial leave of nails. Any nails longer than an inch would only fire half the time. Very disappointing. So far this gun has been 100% reliable. I have only shot about 100 nails through it, however. So fingers crossed.Dewalt has always been my favorite tool platform. In my opinion, they have innovated and really held their own, especially in the cordless tool market. They are pro quality while also being affordable.

Very High Quality l
Like all of my other DeWALT tools, it's built very, very well and just works.A few brands are like that: DeWALT tools, Honda lawnmowers, Yamaha pianos, etc.

Love it! It is better than! I use it often with my new love for woodworking!
I just received this tool. It looked like it had been used. There were some grayish/blackish markings on the top of it. I am going to try it out tomorrow. I went a head and registered it, but was a little disappointed.Update. I think maybe it was refurbished. Not sure. But.... I decided to not return it, and see how it worked.I actually loved it! It is soooo handy, no problems at all. I sent in the warranty information and am so happy with it.
