Wolverine: Weapon X Deluxe Edition

Brilliant artwork and gripping story.

As a HUGE X-Men and comic book fan and collector, I just had to purchase this book, perfect collection, fantastic designs, a much needed addition to anyone’s X-Men and/or Marvel Comics collection.

Brilliant edition of this classic Barry Windsor-Smith story. Oversized, with gorgeous vibrant colour reproduction that lets the stunning linework sing. 75 extra pages of bonus material includes a reprint of another Windsor-Smith tour de force in Uncanny X-men issue 205 from 1986, five Wolverine pages from 2001, a few scans of original b&w art boards from Weapon X, and a cover gallery. The only downside of this edition is that the paper stock is thinner than I would like. However, the quality of it is still good enough that it reproduces the linework and colours very well and it's not noticeably transparent, so I'd still give the book 5 stars and totally recommend it as the best version yet of this legendary work.

Exactly the brutality you need. The original transformation of Logan in too the Wolverine. If you have not read this, it is a must read.
