Easy to use and helpful
This is a very easy to use device that helps you to know how much power is being delivered over a USB C cable. Just plug one end into the device and plug your cable into the other end, and it instantly shows the voltage, current, and wattage being used. It also has a bold arrow that shows which direction the current is flowing, so if you plug this into a computer and plug a device into this meter, it will tell you whether the computer is being charged, or the computer is sending current to the device. You can use this to determine if your phone is fast charging or slow charging, and how much current is being used.A small button, when pressed, will change the orientation of the screen,PROS:* Small and easy to use* Easy to read with useful information* A button lets you change the screen orientationCONS:NoneConclusion: Just get one - or two, or three. I keep them on the end of all of my charging cables.

Brother-in-law enjoyed receiving this
My brother-in-law is very techy and was looking for a tool like this to check his charging ports. He tested it out and was happy with it.

Great power meter, some small suggestions
I love this power meter, I use it all the time to measure the charge speed to/from various devices: laptops, power banks, displays, phones, etc. It's great at what it does, and being able to measure up to 48v means it can measure high power devices using the new USB PD 3.1 standard, which makes it relatively future proof.Customer support is also amazing. The housing on my first one broke, leaving it just barely useable. I emailed the company asking for a replacement and I received one in about a week. TheThe only two things I can really complain about are:1 - the aforementioned case breakage. I do think the case is a little flimsy, and as I carry this power meter around everywhere, it takes a bit of a beating.2 - The male side of the power meter is not long enough to make a full connection when plugging into a phone with a case on. Maybe a very thin case wouldn't cause any problems, but I often have to take the case off, or plug into the other side of the cable to make it work. There are versions of these testers where the male side is actually a short cable, which would solve the phone case problem.Again, these are only small gripes, and overall I'd recommend this product to anyone interested.

An essential diagnostic tool for all of your rechargeable USB-C Devices/cables
These USB-C power meters are essential for troubleshooting charging issues with any/all rechargeable USB-C devices. Being a standalone meter, you can test both the cable and the device. It's ultra portable, well built, and easily understood.

well made and works
This allows me to see how many watts are being pulled by any device that i am charging. Not all cables are created equal so this device lets me know if I have a poor cable in use trying to charge a device quickly. If the power brick is rated to pull maybe 60 or 100 watts and my device is designed for a fast charge, i dont want a slow charge because of a lousy cable. This shows me that i am charging something with greater than the low end 4 or 5 watts. Somebody can probably explain this better but I tried.

Easy to Read and Conforms to Latest Standard
I already have a USB-C power meter, which I like, from another famous brand; however, that brand no longer sells power meters, and USB-C standards keep changing (i.e. higher voltage, more wattage). This Plugable meter is very easy to read, and the button that switches the orientation of the display is a very handy extra feature.I tested this meter against the old one, and they both gave very similar readings, which were plausible, so I assume both are accurate. One feature missing from this new meter is cumulative power transferred. Instead this one provides only instantaneous volts, amps, and watts.Overall this is a very nice meter at a reasonable price.

Improvement over the older version. Needs total charge display.
This is an easy to use USB-C power meter that also works with "dumb" USB-A ports if you happen to have a USB-A to C adapter. The display orientation button and a larger screen makes it more convenient than the previous version. The connectors are snappy, and the plug connector can be used with the phone protective cases (it has an additional little ridge around it). Unlike some other (even cheaper) models, it doesn't measure total charge passed through the meter, which would be a nice addition that'd cover 99% of frequent usage scenarios and would better justify the price premium.
