The Basic Writings of Sigmund Freud (Psychopathology of Everyday Life, the Interpretation of Dreams, and Three Contributions To the Theory of Sex)

love it
Pretty new to psychology, and I was afraid Freud would be very literary and technical, but I was pleasantly surprised. He is a very good, fluid writer and keeps it in-depth, but simple enough to grasp. The "Dreams" section is by far my favorite.

No Freudian Slip here
Purchased to read along with my college grandson who has it also for his honors class. Interesting and insightful.

A Good Introduction and Reference
The Brill translation of the basic early writings of Sigmund Freud, although arguably not the most accurate translation, provides a good introduction to Freud's early work. We can read the critics and followers, yet sometimes we just have to go back to Freud's actual work. I keep my copy handy for reference and review.

Wonderful book about the works of Freud
This book gave you a glimpse of the mind of Freud, contradictory, compelling, and a wonderful read. I would not hesitate to buy this.

Very interesting and worthwhile.
A very interesting book that shows Freud's genius in areas of his expertise while also allowing the reader to see how deeply flawed Freud's understanding was of many other subjects on which he opines.
