Universal Remote Control for LG Smart TV Magic Remote Compatible with All Models of LG TVs (NO Voice Function No Pointer Function)

For some unknown reason LG has made a TV that is over complicated with features no one is ever going to use and a remote that can make you scream it is so pathetically unfriendly in form and function. This substitute remote however is a gamechanger. If I did not find and buy this remote control I would have thrown out the TV. So LG you can thank whoever invented this substitute remote to uncomplicate the mess and frustration you created of watching programs on an LG TV.

I bought this remote for my LG HD TV in my bedroom. It is designed to match the remote that came with my LG OLED TV in the living room. The remote that came with my bedroom LG TV was not user friendly. It had no tactile way of knowing which button you were pressing. You had to look at the remote each time you wanted to press a button. With this remote, the navigation up/down/left/right/OK button pattern gives you positive feedback just by touching them. No looking required. I made it four stars instead of five because the center OK button is pretty sensitive and prefers to scroll rather than just pressing down. You have to concentrate on making the button push straight down. Not a deal breaker. I still really like the remote.

I recently purchased the LG Universal Remote and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and ease of use. I see a lot of people say that the pointer doesn't work. I believe the pointer function is not broken on these remotes but rather just does not exist at all. So if you wanted full functionality of your previous one, don't get this. I didn't try all of the buttons yet because all I use is the up and down and left and right and Center scroll. That and the power button are literally the only things I ever use the LG remote for so I can tell you those work perfectly fine.
