Infinity PR6510CS Primus 6.5 Inch Two-Way Component System with Crossovers

I upgraded the front speakers in my 1999 Chevy Tahoe because one speaker stopped working. I am highly impressed by the quality of these speakers! I am 60 years old, and now have by far the best vehicle stereo system of my life. These are not high-end, absolutely perfect speakers, but I still give them 5 stars because, for the price, they are great quality. Installation was easy. There's a good You Tube video that covers the installation of these specific speakers in my vehicle, which should apply to many other videos. When I installed these speakers I also put butyl rubber sound deadening in my doors. I know that is part of the improvement, but these speakers are a big component of the improvement. I am so happy with the improvement to sound quality that I have obtained so far that I will be completing full soundproofing of my vehicle and maybe replacing my rear factory woofers when it warms up next spring.

These speakers sound really good. Installation may vary but some custom work is required for the tweeter. Sounds crystal clear and work pretty good. It will fit any vehicle with 6.5 inch speakers from the factory.

Installed these in the front two doors, along with a pair of infinity primus 6x9’s in the rear. Absolutely what I was looking for. Not going to shake every component in your car like 2, 12 inch subs. But you will feel the bass, and notice the highs from the tweeters. Very clean sound. All connected to an Alpine sa32f. Best budget build I could figure out and I’m very happy. Something to pay attention to, is that the first shipment was sent without an exterior box. That box was dropped off by an Amazon delivery driver, and placed directly in the rain. I got home a couple hours later, and I was busy with the holiday’s so I took the box inside and checked back in a week when I went to install the speakers. I opened the speakers and there was some oxidation on the tweeters terminals. I gave feedback requested an exchange and they sent another set, in an exterior shipping box this time. Everything arrived perfect the second time around. I know shippers and inventory holding companies like to pinch pennie’s, but cmon. Get it right the first time.

Nice Fidelity but like others have pointed out the tweeters are very harsh with the stock crossovers. If you have a built-in low frequency crossover on your amp or head unit set it to filter frequencies below 300 HZ out and the speakers sound decent, if not replace the crossover. For whatever reason these crossovers choke out and go really harsh if they get any frequencies lower than mid Bass.

Got these speakers to put into my 2014 Ford Focus hatchback. Reason I chose this particular model is because it runs at a lower but safe 3 ohm. Meaning, it'll pull more power from the factory amp to boost the volume which was lacking with the factory Sony 10 speaker system. Volume is much better with these. Pic is of the door install. Install was time consuming but simple. Some install write-ups I found online says to reuse the stock speakers housing by gutting the stock speaker from it's plastic surround. I just used the ones that came with this product. Fitment worked great. Used sound deadening on the doors and hot glue to secure the crossover to the vapor barrier. Sound Quality is great. My only complaint as others have mentioned is the crossover. The tweeter isn't adjustable Db +- as I've gotten on other builds I've had in the past. It makes the tweeter sound kind of harsh, atleast to my ears. I had to adjust the stereo EQ to lower the treble quite a bit. Woofers sound very good although seems to bottom out at maximum volume. No complaints to my untrained ear. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend to others.

I've had these installed in my 2018 Kia Soul 1 Million Edition for a little over a month now and I'm nothing short of impressed. I do have an aftermarket speaker amplifier and your mileage may vary if that is necessary. I've had many different brands of speakers over the years from Kicker, Kenwood, Memphis, etc. And these by far are the most crisp sounding speakers and it's well worth the money. Some may complain that there is a lack of bass but they aren't supposed to have that. Components are not meant for bass. You have a subwoofer for bass and lower frequencies. I really am happy with the way the perform and would buy them again.

Great speakers I replaced the Factory speakers in my MG4 EV with these and they worked brilliantly, not you will need to modify or buy spacers, the tweeters are quite a mission to replace on the MG4 but worth the effort.

Great speakers. I don't have them powered by an amp yet but the sound clarity is awesome. Tweeters aren't harsh and overly sharp. The midbass is decent. For the price you can't go wrong. They are an older model, but still perform quite well. I wouldnt hesitate to put these in my other vehicle.

Suenan increíble, las recomiendo totalmente. Primero las use directo a estéreo y el cambio fue muy notorio, tiempo después instalé amplificador y la diferencia es abismal. Las adquirí a un excelente precio, voy a adquirir otro SET igual.

I know these speakers are fantastic. The only problem is, is that they sent the wrong ones. Return has been good. I’ll have to reorder
