UNIT IS LEAKING REFRIGERANT OUT OF THE SIDE OF THE BASE AFTER ONLY 5 USES. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND! ---- Also seller promised a refund and is now stalling and making excuses. Having to get amazon involved.

Looks like master oil stole from us all enough that they redesigned their scale to make it less explosive for the technician. I have two older models and they exploded on me in the customers home while charging the system. Hopefully this redesign is better next time I make a phone call to my legal department

It’s one thing to receive a defective unit, but having to pay $28 to ship it back was just ridiculous

I’m the photos is all the stuff I’ve bought trying to keep this thing working but to no avail. It still doesn’t work. This is a total wast of money and time. Every single fitting from the bottom of weighing plate to the valve started leaking after only 3 or 4 uses. I have ordered all new fittings and hoses from Amazon and they leak after one use. Now the valve is leaking very badly at the valve handle so now it’s totally useless. I called and emailed Mastercool and got nothing but the runaround. Mastercools customer service is the worst HVAC tool manufacturer customer service I have used. This is a great concept but the components are total junk. I have taken it apart so much to replace connections that a wire came loose at the control board so I had to solder that back together. I can’t emphasize enough to stay clear of this scale it is a absolute wast of time and money but the time wasted is the most expensive part of it all. First Mastercool product I have bought and I will never buy another one.
