It works.
I've ordered this off the Pet Wellbeing many times before for senior /underweight cats, and it's gold. I trust Pet Wellbeing (I would've ordered it there to support "small" business, but the website seemed to glitch everything I tried to order it, so..). My traumatized rescue boy cat lost 3 lbs (25% of weight) I'm a few weeks, and is much calmer, eating normally again and putting the weight back on. I've ordered probably upwards of 10 different herbals from Pet Wellbeing for my own cats and dogs and various rescues since I stumbled upon it nearly 30 years ago (I was MORE than reluctant at first, super protective of fur babies, of course) but I have complete confidence in these herbals as a fantastic alternatives to the medications the vets prescribed over the years (we try the natural route first as much as possible), and Ive never seen ANY sick effects from these herbals. Not once. Try them modestly at first (especially if prescribed medication) abd see what you think for yourself. Best to you and your furry loved ones.. :)))

Total transformation
After three weeks, and even after my cat’s veterinarian, telling me that he did notHave a hyperthyroid condition, my best buddy has started to gain weight, his fur is filling out, and he is acting like his old self again. I cannot thank this product enough for saving my 15-year-old cat. I I went from feeding him to keep weight on him and scared of each and every day, to him acting like a normal cat. It has been such a transformation, and I couldn’t be more happy.

5 Star to 1 Star - Product Change
Update 6/13/20: Product change is making me question the ethics of this company. The old packaging included a glass bottle and the consistency of the product was dark and viscous. The new product is in a plastic bottle and appears to be watered down. My cat went back to vomiting again as soon as I gave him the new product. I called the company and the rep explained to me that because this is a natural product, the color, smell, viscosity, etc can change. He also said that they test the product to make sure the chemical constituents are consistent. I make my own alcohol tinctures and glycerites for personal use but don’t feel I have the knowledge (or testing equipment) to make an appropriate formula for an animal. However, I know enough to know the viscosity shouldn’t change unless the glycerine to water ratio has changed (which should absolutely stay consistent for more uniform extraction results). The color is pale, a clear lighter than honey color, where before it looked more like molasses. This makes me believe they watered down the herbal glycerine AFTER extraction, which would greatly reduce the effectiveness of the product. Why would that be necessary unless they were trying to save money after the tincture had already begun processing (which takes about 6 weeks)? I asked if they had other complaints like this and the phone rep said no. I told him that my cat had started vomiting like he did before going on the formula, and he said, ‘Ooh, this is actually very common when an animal has been on the product for a while. The dosage given is the minimum dosage and you should double it and see if that works.‘ I thought that was a very convenient lie to cover up the change of their product—that my cat’s body was what had changed—but I doubled the dosage and then tripled it a few days later when that wasn’t working. Funny how my cat had ‘become used to’ the product between the last bottle and the new one, so much so that we had gone from 3 drops to 10 in just a few short days. Even at 10 drops, he’s still throwing up every other day or two but I’m afraid to increase the dosage further because some of the ingredients are questionable for long term use in larger amounts. Note that the company has not adjusted the dosage recommendations on its bottle and says I should give my cat 1 drop for every 2 pounds (he weighs 6). So now I have no idea what the true dosage should be with the new formula. I believe if Pet Wellbeing really needed to thin down their product, reducing the efficacy, they should have updated the dosage label. Note that the ingredients label has also not been changed. I also believe therapeutic tinctures/glycerites should never be placed in plastic bottles, which have the ability to leach all sorts of particles (many of which we haven’t yet discovered) into the medicine. I know this is a lengthy review but I am disappointed beyond words. I started out believing in this product, which used to come in a glass bottle and used to be effective. Way to put your profits over the health of the animals you profess to be dedicated to, Pet Wellbeing. I will be trying Primalix ThyroPaws, and hope their standards are better than yours.Original post December 2019: As my cats have started aging, I moved their diet away from canned and packaged foods to all whole foods with the help of vet. This has made a huge impact on the health of all three cats, but one was still struggling with a hyperthyroid condition and was vomiting up bile almost daily. I'm so grateful to have found this product. Adding 3-4 drops of this to a treat twice daily has made all the difference for him. We've been giving him this product for 6 weeks, and he's completely stopped vomiting and exhibiting other thyroid-related issues. Also, we're only half-way through the bottle, so depending on the size of your cat, this could be a 2-3 month supply. It smells a little pungent (like burdock root) so you may have to be creative in how you feed it to your cat. Highly recommend trying this product if your kitty has a thyroid issue.

Works with appetite but is too expensive for such a small bottle. 😭
My 8 year old cat Gypsy has CKD and chronic anemia, but she would be constantly hungry and demanding food as she lost weight due to her condition. This stuff helped settle her appetite down but it took some time to settle in but no change for weight or her vomiting symptoms. The price a bottle, along with a longer shipping time at points isn’t worth it for me. I wish Pet’s Wellbeing had more affordable options, I’m checking to either get the direct ingredients or an alternative.
