Restricted airflow.
First, it’s a beautifully made register and I would love to have it on my wall. However, there are functional issues that made me return the product. The neck is very narrow. It’s about an inch smaller than a 4” housing and it restricts airflow. The second issue is with the adjustable vent design. They leave very little open space, which further restricts airflow. If you have a low airflow system, this may work for you. If you have 8” ducting, designed for high output like I do, those won’t work. Which is a shame. I love the appearance.
