Best Sauerkraut
If you love fermented sauerkraut, this is the best on the market. I have tried them all, and made my own. Delivered in July,2026, just fine. Thank you Bubbies. I just eat it cooled, refrigeratorated, out of the jar, with a fork . Wonderful!!!! I don't rate things much, but if I did, I would rate this Bubbies Sauerkraut A+A+A+A+

Best flavor yet...no garlic, no bitter taste, no sour aftertaste!
This is a very staisfying food item. It isn't sour or bitter or garlicky like so many other brands. I mix it with freshly grated raw beets and a small amount of freshly grated ginger. I eat a large tablespoon of this mix every morning.

arrived damaged
I was looking forward to trying this as I have heard great things about the brand. When it arrived there was liquid everywhere, and I discovered this small hole in the lid of the jar! I have requested a refund, but am very curious as to how this kind of damage could have happened. Obviously it is no longer safe to eat an the entire shipment was destroyed. Hoping to give it another try later.

Bottles damaged last :2 orders
This product is great and deserves 5 stars and shouldn’t be punished because of shipping problems. I’ve ordered it many times. However, ecently I’ve gotten 2 damaged bottles and they’re not returnable. It’s expensive and there’s no Justice!

DECEPTIVE
For those looking for probiotics... there's some stuff you should know: The problem is simple: it's not refrigerated when it's shipped, and highly unlikely to be refrigerated while it was stored prior to shipping. Therefore, the only way they can do this and keep it safe for you to consume is to pasteurize it first. That means all the good bacteria you're looking for is already dead. Also, if this jar ever reached 106 degrees Fahrenheit (41 Celsius) prior to you receiving it, all the good stuff is dead regardless. Unpasteurized (raw) sauerkraut requires refrigeration at all times, while its pasteurized cousin only after opening the container or jar. This product is the latter variety, hence why the jar instructs you to refrigerate it after opening. This also means that you are not likely to find truly raw, unpasteurized sauerkraut with all the probiotics at the grocery store despite whatever marketing lies are printed on the product label. The stuff you're really looking for, if your primary concern is the probiotics, can only be found if you make it yourself or get it from someone who made it themselves. Further, without something inside to feed the good bacteria, it will die on its own. That's why people who make it home add an apple, for example. There is nothing else in the jar besides salt and water - nothing for the good bacteria to feed on to keep it alive. Bottom line: this product MUST be pasteurized in order to keep it from going bad in the unopened jar. And the existence of the probiotics inside is a moot point since there is nothing for the good bacteria to feed on. Also, if the jar ever reached 106 degrees Fahrenheit in its journey, that's a double death for that bacteria. Moreover, if you want the good probiotics, you should make your own. The good news is that making sauerkraut couldn't be easier. You just need organic cabbage, a ladle, some spring water, an apple, and maybe a wee bit of salt and a half gallon glass jar. It's really stupid easy. You can do it in 15 minutes. Need help? Youtube is your friend. The price of this jar of sauerkraut is half the cost needed to buy all of those things. Let that concept ferment in your mind. 3 stars for deceiving people in the product description. But the flavor is pretty good, nonetheless. But no better than I could have made on my own.

Mellow
The flavor is not that different, I mean, how much can you change the basic flavor of sauerkraut. That being said I found it to be a lot more mellow and less in-your-face than what I'm used to. I've used it on hot dogs, reuben sandwiches and with pork chops and always been more than happy with the taste. I'll definitely be getting more.
