Volvos come with these things as standard and I find them incredibly useful for holding parking permits, tickets etc instead of perching them on my dashboard.My new Mercedes does not have one so I needed to buy these. They work very well and when you don't have a ticket in the windscreen they are basically invsible so it keeps your car looking tidy.What was important to me was that they are completely transparent, even the sticky bit that attaches it to the windscreen. That, and that they hold your ticket in place, which they do.
