Bought one about two years ago and loved it, then my girlfriend got jealous and had to buy her one too so I came right back to the same page. Feels just like a real book binding (because it is) and holds really well during travel. Been shoving mine in my bag while backpacking for over a year and still in great shape with only minor signs of use. Must have for kindle users!

It looks as good as advertised, and the magnetic clasp is good quality. The velcro is perfectly sized, and the dimensions fit my Kindle Paperweight 7th Gen perfectly. It also is not too bulky which helps to maintain the feeling and portability of the device.

This is a super cute kindle case for my kindle paperwhite signature edition. As describe, the case is lightweight, well made, and a great size. When closed, it looks like a hardback book, which I love. I’m not crazy about the Velcro (mostly because I hate the sound), but that’s a minor issue, especially since I’ll not remove the kindle unless & until I get a new case. The Velcro is really strong, so no worries that the kindle will fall out. The magnetic closure is secure and I have no concerns with my kindle being damaged. I also liked the inner label that says the cover was “handmade” in England and included the name of the person who made it. That was a lovely touch and I appreciate that it was handmade, especially in this day of cheaply made, mass-produced items manufactured in countries that are not known for fair wages or good labour practices.As I haven’t had the case very long, I cannot comment on durability. But will update this review in a few months.

WOWWWWW!! This case is SO BEAUTIFUL. My dad got me the Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas, and I immediately went looking for a case. As soon as I saw this one I knew I wouldn’t find anything more stunning. I ordered it immediately and yes it takes FOREVER to arrive from the UK (I’m in California). It’s been 5 weeks 😱 HOWEVER! I knew that going in from reading reviews so I patiently waited. I also knew from reading reviews that I shouldn’t expect any embossing (it is printed on thick cardboard, like a book) and that it would literally have the feel of a hardcover book. This is also true, and also something I knew already. So if you do read the reviews beforehand you will be (like me) completely wowed when you see this beautiful thing! The personal notes are so sweet as well. The design is so gorgeous, even more pretty in person, and just looks so fricking adorable and petite with my kindle on it! I like that the inside is just as detailed as the outside. And I can tell that the company are constantly improving the design judging from previous pictures and videos - I didn’t have to stick anything to my kindle (previous designs were that way) and it arrived with the holder in place so you just slip your kindle in! It’s a perfect fit. I was nervous to bend the spine back even though they are designed to bend back - but once I did it feels totally fine for the case. Though the case is so pretty I don’t even want to hold it one handed anymore! Love that there is a strong magnet that holds it open too. ALSO- this may sound strange but I swear the case SMELLS like the UK. I lived in Scotland for two years and when I smelled it I got that wonderful nostalgic sensory memory hehe. This case definitely gives you the “real book” vibe that people like me who read on Kindles can sometimes miss. I do think that it won’t be the most durable case out there, so I plan to treat it somewhat delicately. With that said, I don’t mind having a cheapy whatever case that I use for heavy duty travel or beach reading and leave this one for home/gentle use. If you tend to be hard on your electronics, maybe this is not the case for you. But if you want that utterly gorgeous vintage book look, feel and SMELL and you’re prepared to be a little tender with it then it is absolutely worth the money and (very long) wait. LOVE!!

Love the artwork on this cover. If it was just the artwork I'd give it 10/10. It's cardboard but the printing is very high quality.It attaches to your kindle with a sticker for a velcro pad. It secures very well. The only thing is that it is not that protective during a fall. The case will probably bend or easily scratch up. Also it isn't that secure when trying to read in bed. I wish there was a strap.Overall I love this cover. It's not the most comfortable but it is the most stylish. I love that my kindle looks like a little spellbook. If you are primarily using your kindle in bed like I do it's secure enough. If you are looking for a heavy duty case this is not it

This thing looks/works great, I was a little skeptical of the velcro adhesive but man this stuff is strong. There is no danger of it accidentally coming off and dropping the kindle, it takes some strength to pry this sucker apart once it's on there. My husband likes to take his tablet in the bath so this will work great and he can un-velcro the case and put it back on when done.It feels solid like a real book cover and at a glance on a shelf I would not know the difference, it also holds like a real book and the detail inside and out is well printed and beautiful. I kind of want to buy them all just to have more cover options.... but that's probably excessive. But yes this one is worth the price and lovely. Good quality, not a cheap replica.EDIT: 6 Months later and it still looks near new. I see a lot of folks saying it doesn't last, that isn't the case for mine. Appears to be lasting and still looks great, no complaints and likely going to buy another design!

I don't like the modern plastic / rubber / faux leather covers for kindles. Just like with books, I love older, vintage-look covers. This is a beautiful example - a traditional book cover with a velcro cover on the inside that will securely hold your paperwhite. The fitted magnet is easily strong enough to keep the cover closed with a kindle inside. Just what I wanted.

Very happy with the case, went with the Grimoire design.Case design and quality is even better than how it appears in the photos. I haven’t had the case long but the material feels very similar to a standard hard back book, but more hard wearing.Highly recommended for those that want their Kindle to feel more like a book than an e-reader.My only issues are than the cover closes at a slight angle rather than flat like a regular book (standard for cases in this style) and the case does not appear to activate the auto sleep on close.

Eine wunderschöne Hülle für meinen kindle. Ich bin wirklich total verliebt . Da die Hülle aus einer Buchbinderei kommt, ist sie wirklich genau wie ein bucheinband. Nun fast sich der kindle auch von außen an wie ein Buch und fällt im Bücherregal gar nicht mehr auf. Da die schutzhülle selbst mit einem Klettverschluss an dem Bucheinband befestigen lässt ist es auch möglich zwischen mehreren einbänden zu springen oder den kindle zum lesen in der Badewanne aus dem Einband zu nehmen und doch die Hülle daran zu lassen . Ich werde mir auf jedenfall noch einen mit einem anderen Design bestellen .Vielen Dank an die hersteller für diese wundervolle Idee.

Six years ago I bought my first Kindle Paperwhite, and with it I treated myself to a KleverCase (its cover was a facsimile of an edition of Bram Stoker's Dracula). It stayed in good condition for many years of hard use, and I hung onto it even when it began falling apart because I loved it. But this year I decided to replace it, and the new cover has just arrived. It is as beautifully made and sturdy as the first one. Thank you Manor Bindery and Dotty (the wrapper states the case was handmade by her, using traditional bookbinding techniques). I love it.
